Time to take the BULLET Train to Osaka!

It is officially time to take the bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka! Vroom vroom! We had a fairly relaxing day going from Tokyo to Osaka. We ended up visiting a few places to eat and not doing too much on this travel day.

Ah, having Tokyo Bananas on the Shinkansen...living the life. That Pikachu Tokyo Banana is adorable! And it's so cool you can see Mount Fuji from it. Fun fact, Japan's highest post office is at the top of Mount Fuji! Tsūtenkaku at 6:27 is an observation tower! It's the second tower on the site as the first one was built in 1912 and was the second tallest structure in Asia at the time! The original structure suffered a fire in 1943 which severely damaged it, and they decided to use its steel for the war effort. But after the war, people wanted to rebuild it, and so they did, and the current tower opened in 1956.

Here are some Shinkansen facts: When the Shinkansen first entered service in 1964 as the 0 Series, its maximum operating speed was 220 km/h (135 mph). Today, the maximum operating speed is 320 km/h (200 mph) on a 387.5 km (241 miles) section of the Tōhoku Shinkansen. Starting with the Tokaido Shinkansen (515.4 km or 320.3 miles) in 1964, the network has expanded to all over Japan, including Hokkaido which is connected through the Seikan Tunnel! Over the Shinkansen's history, carrying billions of passengers, there has not been a single passenger fatality or injury on board due to derailments or collisions. The reason the network is so effective is because of how the locations of the major cities are linear! New Shinkansens have extraordinarily long noses compared to other high-speed trains, designed not to improve their aerodynamics, but primarily to eliminate sonic booms caused by the “piston effect” of trains entering tunnels and forcing compression waves out of the other end at supersonic speeds

Have you guys ever considered a how to travel to Japan video? Such as how to book hotels and travel and things you wish you did/brought with you the first time that you brought next time you went? And also stuff like how difficult it is to order food and navigate around because of language barriers? I want to travel there in the next few years and would love a video like that!

Besides the arcades do you guys see any of Japan sights? Like any of the temples, amusement parks, or other tourist attractions? When you do BTS videos, Angel says you spent all day in arcades filming. Do you take any down time for yourselves to enjoy the country you are visiting? Love the videos.
