If you keep your 535 hook up transmission cooler to the pump to keep it cool . We mounted it on the front . It works really good . We had the same trouble with over heating the twine arm pump .

I saw a guy that carries a twin battery Makita leaf blower with him, and the leaf blower does a really good job cleaning the dust and grass off the equipment, for example your baler. He purchased two extra batteries which he said lasts a long time, and with extra batteries he can have one set charging while using the other set ......... Why does Shawn not work for you full time? He seems to have farmer blood running thru his veins and is good at it and a big help to you.............

Yea hate that sight when dosent wana take.my 435 has bar on back kickes bale out.been having little trouble cutting string. Think got it changing those washers on the little tab on arms that push or pull the knife down. No greas fitting on knife that arm pulls down.slid off shaft greased. Used to make 4×6.cut it down 4×5 for selling. Cows gone. Equipment sure has changed. Made farming much easier.as long as the computer and sensors work.

That hydraulic pump is a SAGINAW/GM That pump has been on every GM vehicle with power steering for 50 years. If you need a replacement, get it at an auto wrecker for $20

I still have a JD 530 that I bought brand new the last year they were made! The newer ones have a lot more sensors and wiring. The electric tie actuator is also costly! You need a volt/ohm meter in the field to work on the new ones.

Dallas Slaubaugh The 568 and 569 are probably the best ...built heavier, and faster. The 566 we have works a lot better. If you were getting one I would recommend the 568 or 569, but the 566 or 567 would be the next best

Northern farmer I see. looking to upgrade to something with netwrap but have seen a lot of 535s for sale locally pretty reasonably priced. in our area nearly $7k+ (us) jump in price to a 567 netwrap from a 535. any issues starting bales with your newer deere? we do corn stalk bales in the fall and our neighbor has trouble starting bales with his jd. but he doesn't have the mega wide pickup which seems to make a difference getting them to feed.

As long as I'm spending your money, You definitely need a new baler! Don't know if a Vermeer baler will be available, tornado just took out one of their facilities in Iowa. Tornado hit during the afternoon but I don't think there were any casualties.

You should look at upgrading really, ti would make sense. We've ran a 566, 567, 568 and a Massey 2756A. All were great, you could probably put a bit more feed through the 567 or 568 but the Massey made a bit better bales we thought. The new ones I have heard you can bale just as fast with though. Heard good things about Vermere too. If you like John Deere, you won't be disappointed with newer models I think, but Massey or Vermere are definitely worth looking into.

If you had a storage building to put big squares in would you purchase a new big baler. Would it be easier for your operation to feed. I know the biggest thing is storing them outside to shed the water.
@troyp467
@troyp467 6 жыл бұрын
We used to do 3x3 foot square bales along with round bales. The squares are great for feeding in the barn but feeding outside round bales are probably just as good. Plus the thing with square bales, which is why we stopped doing them, is you need the man power to pick and store them right after you bale them. Round bales you can leave for a bit and it doesn't matter as much if they get rained on, but square bales get ruined with rain. They are nice to handle and stack though. Pros and Cons to everything I guess.
@shawnzenz8682
@shawnzenz8682 6 жыл бұрын
he probably wouldn't because he feds his bales with a processor and its a lot easier to get rounds bales in then squares. If he did get a big baler he get ah bad ass krone and put old smokey on the fucker and run laps around your new holland baler and be rolling coal with ah big old Canada flag screaming JUST OUT FER AH RIP.

My brother’s have gone from 530-535-567 to 605M Vermeers and not looking back. One is lucky to get bale an acre. his bale weight went up because the baler kept the leaves on the stalks. He theorizes it’s because the baler spins slower and doesn’t knock the leaves off.

Hey Tyson. Not sure if you have a dealer near by but have you considered a McHale baler. They are a real high output machine and the fixed chamber balers we run in Ireland for baling silage way outperform the Deere, welger Krone kunh. If you have a dealer anywhere near you should have s look

aussiefendt Mchale do belt balers also. I don't know much about them but they seem to have same intake as fixed chambers. My not be an option for Tyson as I don't know how good dealer support is in Canada but they are superb machines. Are they finding market in Australia?
@aussiefendt1796
@aussiefendt1796 6 жыл бұрын
Patrick Geraghty yeah there getting around now here in Australia, we do a fair bit of silage plus some hay and straw, the krone does excellent silage, and put out bales weighing the same or heavier than most other balers around our area, but yes the mchale’s are getting more popular in Australia
