Time To Upgrade My Avenger

I love my Air Venturi Avenger, but there a few things that could be improved such as the ability to attach a moderator and an adjustable stock. Those issues are addressed in the new Air Venturi Avenge-X. However I already have an Avenger, so I would like to fix those issues myself by upgrading the Avenger instead with a DonnyFL adapter and a Buck Rail stock.

I just did the same upgrade and my mlok handle broke when using a bipod. Good thing Buck Rail is willing to do free replacements

Yeah, as I was reading your comment I was thinking about his free replacement or money back guarantee on his website. Good thing he has that or this would be a deal breaker for a bunch of people. PS I don't attach anything to my forend and just use it as a grip. That's why I got the M-lock version, so it's more comfortable to hold than a bunch of Picatinny rails 😉

I love my avenger but got the NOTOS as I don’t like fiddling with 3d print stuff and wanted something lighter weight for my second pcp!

I did consider the Notos when I was getting the Hatsan Jet 2, but I really wanted a PCP pistol so if that stock could come off that could've worked. I also wanted it in .177 because these short barrels don't produce a lot of power so with .177 it stays relatively flat. That and I had a few thousand .177 pellets laying around 😉

Thanks! I had been waiting for 6 months for all three pieces to be in stock at the same time, so get it while you can 😉 They may have been available in between, but not when I checked occasionally. I didn't have to change my scope at all, the height of the cheek rest is the same. The standard pistol grip might get some getting used to for me because it's a little thinner. I got the M-lock forend and it feels great.

No, that's another advantage of the new Avenge-X if you want to be able to do that. That said, I don't want too many different pellets around and change my settings all the time, so I think it's perfect in .22. It shoots nice and flat at low power. Especially if you're hand pumping like I do.

I wanted to buy this stock also but the buffer tube sits kind of low it looks stupid.

If it were up higher I'd need to put my scope up higher, so I don't mind the way it looks. It's more important to me that it works ;)

Did the Magpul stock come with the riser?

It did. You can also just get the tube if you already have a buttstock and riser.

Thanks! I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on the bottle conversion because I don't really need it. Also a larger volume is harder to pump by hand, so I'll leave it like this. If I had a compressor maybe a bottle would be nice for more shots.
