Funny story…I painted my bathroom and bought new light fixtures at Home Depot. The electrician installed the lights for me, and apparently I bought a ceiling fixture that was larger than it needed to be. I didn’t feel like returning it, and the guy was here, so I said go ahead and install it. Well, it is bright, and I’m used to it. A friend came over, turned on the bathroom light, and this is what I heard, “Oh man! I think all the lights in town just dimmed!”

Doug said 'just a few little odd jobs . . .' yet he wired and installed all the lighting throughout the home with the exception of the one above the dining room table.Wow! To me that's a huge accomplishment. I really like those fixtures, apparently I never noticed those on display in stores. So much pre-planning goes into rebuilding the interior of any dwelling but Eevee and Doug take it to a COMPLETELY new level. Very impressive! The cabinet frames for Belle and Maverick's bathroom are simple, sturdy and perfect for the design. Nothing should distract from the awesome bathroom floor tiles!

Hi Doug and Eevee! I have the same Halo lights all over my house. I have a huge favor to ask. Would you consider posting a quick video showing someone how to remove that light from the ceiling? I have had 2 instances now where I needed to remove the light… but I couldn’t. So I didn’t. If there is a guy that would know how, it would be you! Thanks for considering. Everything looks awesome!

I love those light fixtures. They really finish up the ceiling nicely. I also like to finish one step before moving on to another step. When I'm able to of course. Ooh! Those custom built cabinets look amazing!! I'm always in awe with your carpentry skills, Doug. Finish carpentry can be quite tricky, especially when you're trying to fit it into an old build.

It's always amazing how much difference a coat of paint makes. Installing the lights in the ceiling helps make things look that much closer to the finish line. Bravo!

I personally don't like overhead lights in the living room, as is traditional. Lamps are used, and one is usually switched, with the switch at the front door... but you do you. Looks so nice.

I know you don't have power turned on in the mobilehome, but I find having a fan blowing on me when I'm working when it's hot really helps me stay cooler and not get as sweaty. I like how easy those ceiling lights were to install.

Auto Clear Coat looks great on wood surfaces. No brush strokes and can lay pretty thick and seals un even joints and etc.

Yes, the ceiling looks so nice and bright. Just adding the lighting fixtures must give you that extra boost of confidence and excitement that all the hard work is really paying off. It looks really good! With all the lifting, stretching and straining you both do with your neck and shoulders, and from my own personal experience, I can't help but wonder how stiff and sore your neck and shoulders must get at times.
