In the Gospel of John it starts by saying "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God". This seems like a similar idea that everything in the Torah was created the first day, but God speaks everything into existence by reading the Torah that is the "Word". This idea also seems to be present in the "Book of Melechizedek" whose fragments were found in the Dead Sea Scrolls.

I just re-watched this excellent class. A few comments: 1) When Moshe Rabbenu attended R. Akiva's class, he was IN Eretz Yisrael. R. Akiva lived and taught in EY. So Moshe DID enter the land! 2) There is at least one episode in Bereshit of "kefitzat haderech," or the pleating of the fabric of space in order to shorten the length of the journey: When Avraham Avinu's servant Eliezer travels from Hevron to Padam-Aram (with 10 laden camels, no less!) to meet Rivka at the well. The journey should have taken weeks, but took only a few hours. And the same for the return journey, when Eliezer was accompanied by Rivka and her nurse Devorah. An example of space and time shortened proportionally to each other in Torah. 3) I think of this sometimes: In the "block of time," Geulah is happening NOW. If only I /we could access this! When I say the Shema, I imagine seeing the Third Temple, praying my vision will manifest SOON. Similarly, I wonder if, sometime after Geulah is in process, (HaShem Yirachem, SOON!), HaShem will heal all of us by removing our memories of exile? That way we would all be joyfully peaceful, without traumatic memories. A re-setting not of time, but of our experience of it. Lots to think about, and may we experience Geulah SOON, if not right now! Thanks again for your brilliant shiurim. Surely this is a sign of imminent Geulah ... I am writing this on Hoshana Rabba. May HaShem seal us for a good year, a year of good health, revealed blessings, and more open miracles! Chag sameach and Shabbat Shalom!

Christ's Sacrifice Takes Away Sins Hebrew chapter 9 23Those things, which are copies of the heavenly originals, had to be purified in that way. But the heavenly things themselves require much better sacrifices. 24For Christ did not go into a Holy Place made by human hands, which was a copy of the real one. He went into heaven itself, where he now appears on our behalf in the presence of God. 25The Jewish high priest goes into the Most Holy Place every year with the blood of an animal. But Christ did not go in to offer himself many times, 26for then he would have had to suffer many times ever since the creation of the world. Instead, now when all ages of time are nearing the end, he has appeared once and for all, to remove sin through the sacrifice of himself. 27Everyone must die once, and after that be judged by God. 28 In the same manner Christ also was offered in sacrifice once to take away the sins of many. He will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are waiting for him. Hebrew Chapter 10 1The Jewish Law is not a full and faithful model of the real things; it is only a faint outline of the good things to come. The same sacrifices are offered forever, year after year. How can the Law, then, by means of these sacrifices make perfect the people who come to God? 2If the people worshiping God had really been purified from their sins, they would not feel guilty of sin any more, and all sacrifices would stop. 3As it is, however, the sacrifices serve year after year to remind people of their sins. 4For the blood of bulls and goats can never take away sins. 5 For this reason, when Christ was about to come into the world, he said to God: “You do not want sacrifices and offerings, but you have prepared a body for me. 6You are not pleased with animals burned whole on the altar or with sacrifices to take away sins. 7Then I said, ‘Here I am, to do your will, O God, just as it is written of me in the book of the Law.’”

Thank you. I listened to your video about all being a simulation (excellent, thank you !). There you explain time and space are not linear in the Torah as it would happen in a simulation; it would all depend on the awareness and vibration of the observer living different realities. So, as there may be so many observers all possibilities should be possible in this hologram. When you read the Torah here and now you are a concrete observer, and all possible reasons explain the different "whys" to the different observers.

The track is A Tribute To The Israeli Defence Force and it is excellent - tuneful and forceful without being bombastic combined with a lovely lyric. I know next to nothing about the group but on investigation I see they've recorded a whole batch of Jewish related tracks such as Pesach, Yom Kippur, Bar Mitzvah, Israel Is Real, The 613 Mitzvot and probably others I don’t know about yet. Some of them feature Rabbi Moshe Bryski which is definitely a recommendation in itself.

This is actually related to a famous Talmudic discussion. In short, they were the same Hebrew letters/font we use for writing the Torah today. Paleo-Hebrew did not have crowns at all. Aramaic came much later and only became the vernacular of the Jews after the Babylonian Exile.

Also, the idea of consciousness traveling time makes a lot of sense to me. We see this in the Nevi'im in prophecy, it could be conceptualized as consciousness unbound by time, seeing visions of the future. I think they could be recalling memories from their own conscious life experiences throughout time. We have stories of this today, with people remembering events from their past lives in great detail.

16:56 this is the second lecture of yours that I’ve listened to, and I find them rather interesting. My question is about the credibility of Zohar I. I don’t mean to challenge its assertions, or “troll,” but I just want to clarify because I’m not very familiar with it. My question is, assuming Zohar I was written in the 13th century AD as scholars generally agree, at what point can one consider the arguments it makes about something as early as Adam and Eve to be credible? And also, assuming it is credible, what (if known or discovered) is the source of the claim that Adam gave 70 years of his life to David? I’ve never heard this before, but it is a very interesting thought. I want to learn more about Kabbalah

As a prophet of God and thinking I'm crazy and been given all this knowledge then to hear you confirm through your teachings (I watch a lot of your work) some of what God has revealed through my mouth to me is comforting to my weird musical world. This idea that time is an illusion was given to me years ago. That everything is now. Like the sun behind the clouds is the future. It already exists even if I cant see it. When I explain what God has told me all I get is eye rolls because humans are so grounded in the 3 d. That may or may not change. As it has been before it may be once again. I am actually an ancient being of light and have received and anointing and will be public in a short while. I am here this round to prepare the hearts of men for what's to come (that part is still the same lol). But this round is to raise the vibration of the hearts and open the mind's eyes. The next decade and a halfish will be something pretty wild. Things never seen before. Clean your temples my brother's and sisters. I only explain this here because you share your knowledge so I decided to share some of mine a little before it's time. Soon I will hit the stages of the world. On time travel: when it's possible it has already happened lol. God bless y'all!

Time in this creation is linear. It can be held sped up or slowed down but it is always moving forward toward the time of the end of this work.Outside of this creation time is not measured in lenghth of days or night.Time is not a boundary of eternal perception.Strtched out before you is the expanse of ever lasting without constraint.Enter eternity and how long a matter or project takes is to the individuals desire.How perfect do you want a thing.Do until you and GOD in you brings satisfaction or the required conclusion.There are worlds without end and always work to be done.

12:47 thought? What if it isn’t hundred years? But something else? Such as instead is thousand years? How does that calculate from Abraham to today? As in slavery has many forms?

Hi Rabbi. I mean no disrespect by this comment I am just curious to know your motivation behind reading out Gods name as “Yud Hay Vav Hay” simultaneously without any breaks or substitutions. I ask this for I have heard a few rabbis say it’s better to substitute “Hay” for “Kay” or add an “and” in between every letter. I wanted to know what your thoughts are on this and your reasonings for just reading out the letters simultaneously. Also I’m a huge fan of the Shiurim. They are always so inspiring.

Consider if you will, the speed of thought compared to the speed of light. I believe thought is instantaneous (your mind to another on the opposite side of the universe).

K'fitzat haderekh e.g. Eliezer's fast arrival at Rivka's home. I think I am right in saying that according to special relativity, space is compressed when an object is travelling at super-high speeds. So maybe it's not just a metaphor after all!
@EfraimPalvanov5 ай бұрын
I don't think it's a metaphor either, and wrote about the science of kefitzat haderekh here: www.mayimachronim.com/kefitzat-haderekh-wormholes-in-the-torah/

@@EfraimPalvanov Very interesting. I look forward to watching more of your videos. I have always taken the view that we should be asking: “What must be true in the world of science for the ‘miracles’ in Tanach to be possible?” Kol hakavod!

Hi Rabbi! It's me again. Sorry to digress from the video topic bu would you be so kind as to telling me where Judaism stands when it comes to abortion? Is it for or against or it depends? When life actually begins according to Judaism? I'm asking because, as you may know, full and unrestricted legalization is The discussion of the day in the west and particularly in Brazil.

Read the story of Jesus' transfiguration where he meets Moses and Elijah (Moses representing the Law and Elijah representing the Prophets). It ties in nicely with this teaching on time travel. You've actually helped me understand this scene in the New Testament!

I have always known these things . Stinky at math . Read some of these books as a kid . I have tried this , It was so intense , like a rocket ship blasting off , not an astronaut, I couldn’t take it , Take off with no training. Do you have guided meditations For this?

I don't have guided ones, but I did write about Jewish meditation techniques here: www.mayimachronim.com/practical-jewish-meditation/

Some of this understanding has easier explanations rather than mental gymnastics. Descendants being slaves in a foreign land for 430 years for example, refers to the enslaved in America for this same period taken on ships. Those in Egypt never went on ships. The mistakes are in our understanding

Can a soul get reincarnated to the past? I am asking if a person who dies in 1980 can be reincarnated in 1545; if the soul is indeed beyond time.

Could the star chariot be the capacity for astral travel through higher vibrational realms rather than space especially since they were going to walk with God?
@LlFE5 ай бұрын
Gods love is the capacity. The chariot is a vehicle. All vehicles run on something. Human chariots including images not directly from source are hacks which have never worked. It can lead you to the pit. Maybe you’d say that chariot took you there. But he wouldnt send you to the pit unless you chose. If we go anywhere except to him, the hack didnt work. Thats why many astral project and come back here unchanged. The way was made narrow. Ive heard the star being a symbol of the chariot. But this is an idea that causes confusion. Nothing has a capacity or is a capacity to do anything other than what created it and what is reflected in it. That thing is the capacity All spiritual matters should be worded this way to help the individual remember where this energy is coming from, or they will be misled by the mystery. Would your creator make you as a living image to have you believe another image is your way back home? Or would you prefer to go somewhere besides the home youve forgotten, for an adventure into mankind’s misleading fantasies (and should he give you images that move you further from home?) I dont think that benefits any of his purpose other than to seperate the wheat from the chaff. Like images of hell. Its not for us to travel there and to know hell deeply. It wasnt created for us. Some hate God because of the existence of such an idea or the possibility of it being real. But it wasnt made for your kind, unless thats what you choose (to be against his will.) Then, if its your choice to be there, then you have a right to go there, but if so, you should no want life, not even the sin of it. I think the point of God giving us a the option to join him in a place of timelessness, was so that we can learn directly from him the depth of his timelessness in creation. So outside of his loving kindness, there is no capacity. Just a falling and a rotting.

Question: You say that Moshe Rabbenu learned to read and write Hebrew when he was on Mt Sinai. What is your source for this? He (apparently) understood and spoke Hebrew; did he still need to learn to read and write it before Matan Torah? Interesting shiur, as usual. I'll rewatch it. Also, planning to watch "Interstellar." Thank you!
@EfraimPalvanov5 ай бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. To clarify: what I meant was that Moshe was learning how to write the Torah, not how to write Hebrew. I expect he already knew how to read and write Hebrew.
