Hey Russ! Thank you so much for the feature! We just stumbled upon this video and really enjoyed it, you highlighted so much our amazing community has to offer! The beautiful florals you took notice of are thanks to Coshocton In Bloom, an organization that works to keep Coshocton looking stunning all summer long. We would love to have you back sometime, stop in at Coshocton Supply Co. in Roscoe Village if you're ever in the area again & say hello to us at the visitors bureau. :)

Those huge cream coloured flowers (I’m Canadian, hence the spelling) are actually on shrubs called Hydrangeas. They’re breathtaking and a pollinator’s paradise!

Astounding places that you have visited here in Ohio. The museum in the Roscoe village has an astounding Chinese and Japanese collection of hand carved pieces. The time and patience of the carver for the faces was beyond impressive. Thanks for the tour of Coshocton, Ohio.

IMO, a prettier drive down to Coshocton would be through the little towns of Charm and New Bedford where you pick up 643 to 641 towards Coshocton. That whole area is beautiful.

Russ, I think we may be close in age. Do you remember back in the day when people were out in their yards, on their porches, active. Kids riding bikes, playing outside. Do you now see a distinct difference in your travels in this day and age ? Be a good topic for one of your programs. Would love to read the comments about it. Was in Coshocton late August live 30 mins from there. Salt Fork Lake area.

I have been to Millersburg before working as an audio engineer for the Sweetcorn Festival. They had had to bring corn in because of drought and that was at least 30 years ago. They will likely be bringing corn in again as we are under severe drought conditions in most of east central and south east Ohio and it's moving north.

You mentioned this latest video was filmed in Late August. Anybody else, (besides me) wonder where Russ is now? Somewhere along Route 66, I'm guessing. How's that part of the trip going? Thanks for taking us along. Ohio is incredibly green. Will ya look at all that neatly manicured green grass ?

Lived in Ohio most of my life. Bought the homestead. I work in WV and live close to the Ohio river in south east Ohio. Rust belt for sure. Our little town is doing OK though. It's small, quiet and clean now that the mills and mines have been gone for some time. Rolling hills and twisty back roads. Was great for motorcycle riding before the frackers came. It's always something to ruin the fun of the locals. The water trucks and heavy machine being trucked in and out can barely fit on a state route, let alone the ones we have in these hills. All of these state routes go through the hills.

nice vid, Russ. but, I just wanted to point out that the person working in the blacksmith shop in Coshocton was a woman, yet at 42:47, you pointed the camera right at her saying "him" and "he". was there another worker in there who was male? anyway, stay safe 🤙
