Your a missionary to special needs kids and adults it does not have to be in a church or ran through a specific group to be a missionary you are a very inspirational woman and I believe that the Lord has put you thier with the kids to help guide them in the right direction with honor and integrity thease kids love what you are doing you are a true missionary like your mother said you got this and so does your staff

hello Ari, this is Ted Cohen from you're summer camp. every time we celebrated Lee Marrones Birthday, I thought of her and my mother as well. and wishing that my mother wouldn't have died from cancer. because, I loved her and because, she was a music teacher at Pomona, I thought it would be wonderful, to had my mother come to camp Lee mar. and do a live performemence and perform her flute choir, and band performance on Lee's birthday. because I was missing her music. its to bad she's gone in heaven now. Ari, I could have told this to you before. while I was in camp. with you. I miss her a lot. take Care. Happy Halloween. from Ted

I love the fact that there are programs like this out there for kids to have a great summer no matter their disability. Only it always seems so expensive.. 11,300 for the whole 7 weeks(but probably you can get parts of that covered)... I work for a organisation, that does 2 week camp, multiple times a year and the kids have a lot more severe disabilities, some can't talk/eat etc. and pretty much all need a 1 on 1 teamer for those 2 weeks :D and it's 350 bucks per 2 weeks which is really nice cause it's affordable for the parents/forster parents (rest is covered by health insurance stuff, but I think it is like 1500 per 2 weeks overall)

I had the best years of my life at Camp Lee Mar. I made friendships there and learned how to be indipendint. I miss it and wish I could go back there to camp lee mar.
