A note for their Japanese comebacks - they tend to pre-release song(s) before the actual album is released - while that hardly ever happens for Korean comebacks - so you will see MVs or just song audio releases before the album, so it may seem like timelines get crossed as you're watching some of these MVs

Top is originally a Japanese release. It was released at the beginning of 2020 as their first Japanese single alongside slump (so their Japan debut). They only specify “japanese ver” in the title bc they released a korean and english version as well. They later included the Korean ver on go live and the japanese ver on their 1st Japanese mini “all in”. Also the songs “Night”, “Falling Up” and “WHY?” are all pre releases that are included in the giant album.

I was a baby Stay when I happened to be able to get concert tickets in the US because them having to reschedule due to Covid. This was the last song they did and it was the only one I didn't know at the time. When I say, seeing this live changed all the things. I am fortunate enough to say that I have seen Michael Jackson and Prince live in concert and when I tell you that concert, but especially when they closed with this was on par with the greats I just mentioned. I highly suggest you look for a live performance of this or the dance practice because this is some of their best choreography.

They did a first take performance of slump and you guys just have to watch it omg. You don't have to react to it but its for sure a must watch either way hearing their original vocals on that song is gold. The lyrics to it always make me emotional too. As someone who's neurodivergent I've always felt like people were always moving ahead of me while i was behind just trying to catch up to their level so it hits home

Fun fact, TOP was my introduction to Stray Kids. I was listening to Dreamcatcher on Spotify and it just continues to an instrumental version of the song. I remember going, "what is this epicness?" I went to search for the actual song, and the rest just took over.

Have you heard seungmin sing love poem by IU for kingdom.. it was beautiful. Him, jongho (ateez), eungkwang (btob) were heavenly. My sister in law is getting into kpop and I've been getting her into stray kids and ateez 1st, but she loves watching k-dramas and she had a hometown cha cha cha cd in her car and I told her seungmin does an ost for it and I showed her where it says stray kids in the cd. Lee know has said previously he is going in 2025. Not sure about anyone else. Bangchan and felix are technically exempt as they belong to Australia as citizens.

Slump is a hanpop track, Han wrote it during his own slump and released it after getting out of that space. Never related to lyrics more than on that track, despite being in a university setting and nowhere near being involved in music
