I just finished this year doing power homeschool, and let me just say I didn’t understand math at all, I’m in 10th grade and when I finish a video and move on to the questions, I didn’t understand any of them, I would rewatch the video again and still not understand what to do, i want to join a program that is I can learn from and my parents and view my progress/work and how many hours I’ve been doing

You can try Mia Prep, Time 4 Learning, Study.com, or several others. Or maybe just use a separate program just for math, such as Khan Academy or Teaching Textbooks.

I need a platform that allows me to create when needed our own classwork, projects, quizzes, and tests. I also need to be able to print out detailed end-of-year reports. Can either of these platforms do this?

No not that I know of. Have you tried Google classroom? You can create your own lessons and quizzes with that.

I am currently setting up my own system with a Canvas classroom, but I was just informed that I may need to produce detailed reports connected with an official program, so now I'm looking for a paid platform that allows customization as needed. I also need to look into what reports Canvas can generate.

Do you have a video that explains how to create a transcript using time4learning for high schoolers? I’m really interested in using it for my son going into 9th, but I’m nervous that he can’t get a diploma and I’m in charge of credits.

I don't have a video but I do have it on my list. Basically you just need to keep track of each course they take every year, and assign a credit and grade to each course. Where I'm from we use 1 credit per full year course and .5 credit for a one semester course. Then you just make it look nice when it's done. There are a lot of websites that can help if you just google "homeschool transcript" or "how to make a homeschool transcript." It's really not hard at all!

Which homeschool program do you use?

In the past we have used Time 4 Learning and Miacademy. Both were good programs but we realized my daughter does better with more offline work. We use essentials in writing which has online video lessons but offline worksheets. And Night Zookeeper which is all online. We've been doing a bunch of things for math, currently dimensions (which you can purchase online video leasons for) also started Life of Fred. Prodigy and Synthesis Tutor currently for some extra practice. Schoolhouseteachers.com for unit studies. And we're trying some lessons on Mystery Science.

@@Luv4USA24 We use essentials in writing which I think is a wonderful program but it's more for grammar and writing, not for spelling. I am coming out with a video tomorrow on 10 more online reading programs - there are a couple on the list that are recommended for dyslexia.
