8:04 the lighting behind those transparrant tiles, do you still have easy access to replace it? I know LEDs technically last a long time, but not forever and those tube lights tend to fail more than other styles of fixtures. Do love the effect it has though, there is so much you can do with modern LED lighting to create unique styles and patterns these days and not enough of it is being exploited.

OK, as a preservationist, I admit my heart stopped a little watching that little cottage come down in the beginning, but there is no argument that this is an INCREDIBLE house, and I hope your family has made it into a happy home. Great design and execution. Well done! And the video is oddly satisfying to just sit and watch....good with my coffee this morning.

I would have liked to see the inside of the little cottage. I think it looked like you could sit on the porch of the little house and be quite at home. It was sad to see it demolished. The other house was nice, but it could have been built somewhere else and preserve the little home.

I'm amazed they would nail the siding directly to the sheathing right through the house wrap with no rain screen to keep moisture from getting behind it. This house looks nice from the outset but I see so many things they could've done better. I give this house 10 years before you start finding mold and rot behind the walls
@jforrest21402 жыл бұрын
I have to say it's super nice to see a dumpy house torn down and replaced! I have had countless conversations with people that all we ever do is build. Homes have a life span and it isn't forever. No one wants to lose out on a property because it's an investment. It just kills me when homes go into disarray and become left behind and we go and divide up more land to build new homes. Wish there was a process to affordably remove junk homes and make that land available again for reuse.
