Hey Jóhannes! Great video! Did you go back to Procreate for the coloring step?

Hi Chey, Yes I did :-) I have actually created separate tutorials on how I did the outline in Illustrator, exported it back into Procreate, and how I added the colors in Procreate: - Inking the outline in Illustrator: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4TZl2dtfZyJrdk - Export into Procreate: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5W2o4Noqr5klZY - Colors: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bmGugZmrh6qpj7s

Hello there. So I was just wondering why did you sketch on procreate and then do outline work on AI, when you could have done the outline work directly on procreate? What is the reason, if I may ask?

Thanks for asking. I want to be able to have the outline in vector, so it does not loose quality when I scale it up. My experience is that when you scale pixel based images up it is at the hard edges with a lot of contrast that gives away the pixels first. So in the colored areas where there is a lot of shades the pixels does not show up as apparent as in the outline. So by keeping the outline in vector, I can scale up vector and colours separately, and then recompose them, maintaining 100% sharp edges. I hope that explains

I also comment on it in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4TZl2dtfZyJrdk
