Cold, clear nights in the Alps. What could be better?
Night time time lapses can sometimes be an exercise in patience and endurance, though. When shooting during nighttime each frame can take up to 30 seconds, which means each clip typically takes 2-4 hours to record.

really beautiful video! I love the framing of the first shot with the lone tree, but my favorite has to be the one at @1:21. Something about the blue tinted sky and the moving moon+shadows gets me.
