Dr prakash but i have heard that most of the people are telling as step 1 is hard and requires deep knowledge of clinical subjects too, so its ideal to give it after covering all 19 subjects of mbbs which will give us clarity in answering questions. Juat by knowing pre clinical subjects it difficult to crack every questions.

I will disagree. Most people who get good marks in Step 1 do it just after 2nd prof. Especially in AIIMS, people who scored in high 260/270 gave it in 7th sem while most who gave in internship got in 250s. Now considering Step 1 is pass fail it makes even more sense to get done wiTh it in 7th sem.

Dr Prakash, is it true that Indian medical graduates would not be able to attempt USMLE after 2023? Apparently indian medical colleges don't have FMCG accreditation and it would take atleast a decade to get it. What are your thoughts about that?

@jonaskahnwald7394
@jonaskahnwald7394 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it helps a lot. However it’s not a formula and there’s no guarantee of matching in competitive specialties even after that. The odds certainly increase but it never is 100%, even if you get say 30-40 publications.
