Stephen Curry has completely changed the way that the NBA is played. But his journey to superstardom hasn't been easy. From going nearly unrecruited in high school and being ignored by the big colleges to doubting he was big enough to play in the NBA steph has heard all the haters and proven them all wrong.
This video is a timeline of Steph's career from his Dad playing in the NBA to Steph Winning back to back MVP's and changing how we view the 3 point shot and the type of success it can bring to a team.
Instrumental produced by Chuki.
Song is called: Chance

Hope you like the video, I am trying a few new things! I have been talking with a great channel called Mars Reel (Check them out!), we are thinking of collaborating and using all their great footage behind the scenes of high school stars and following their career through the NBA. I Will also keep making team videos though, don't worry! Maybe the Raptors next?

@Sadistic Soup Wilt Chamberlain was such a dominant force in the post that the NBA actually expanded the lane to make it harder for him to score. Julius Erving was the first highlight-reel dunker, which a lot of players try to be now In baseball, Babe Ruth was the first great home run hitter, and more players have been trying to hit more home runs since then

@Sadistic Soup Michael Jordan was a whole new type of superstar that has influenced the idea of what a superstar is in the NBA. Before that it was primarily big men who were the stars. Shooting guards were not considered that way. Pretty influential but he is the GOAT after all, of course he was the sport itself during his era.

Steph Curry really changed the NBA, as Colin Cowherd said at the end, "you can't be in the NBA unless you can shoot a 3" and that is one of the few things he has said that is right. The 3 is a HUGE part of today's game, so much so that it is becoming a problem in terms of the balance of the game. That's why this era is called the era of positionless basketball.

@@asterisk911 In all honesty, this comment wouldn't receive any likes if I worded it correctly. The purpose of my comment was to point out how Curry always has been doubted, "too small", "too skinny". A sports anchor who are unaware of how to pronounce the name of a player who finished second in the ROY race scoring 17.5 points on efficient shooting as a second option, is horrendeous considering it's Steph's third year in the league. Rather than the sports anchor being ignorant, he could simply be another disbeliever of Steph (as Curry hadn't redeemed himseld already) Time and time again this is what Steph have had to put up with and it would continue for a while after this occurence. Or the sports anchor just might have commited a mistake...
