What an excellent video! The offense is championship built, the defense I think will come to full throttle in tonight's game 6 and here on out. We just needed confidence. All champions teams had two way players and players like lou williams, trae young, and gallinari are no exception.
@Sn0reSnoreDan3 жыл бұрын
Dude, great upload, no lie. I started following basketball, and thus the Hawks, since the 04 - 05 season when we Drafted Josh Smith. I've seen the ups, the downs, the downs, the downs, the UPS, and now the very promising future. Atlanta hasn't had a superstar like Young since maybe Dominique Wilkins.. Josh Smith was a hometown superstar (if that makes any sense, nowhere near the heights of Trae), and I was hoping for something out of Marvin Williams (when he was the 2nd pick, that's the Chris Paul draft too). When we signed Dennis and Coach Bud, i knew we going to better places and a better future too. I see it now. We NEED a championship within the next 2 years. Less than likely this year of course. But you gotta also give credit to the front office. When Tony Resller and the group Grant Hill was a part of came in and SERIOUSLY changed the dynamic of the team, i was hesitant at first, but now I'm glad they did. I hope to one day see and celebrate a Hawks championship in my lifetime (I'm in my late 20's). Thanks for the video dawg. It brought back so many memories i wish I could forget lol.

Millsap was a beast on the jazz and hawks, I was slightly angry when he went to Denver and was a secondary player when still could've been a leader on the team

Excellent video and presentation! Subscribed! Trae is perfect for Atlanta. A city with no NBA championship since the mid 60’s needs a franchise player that can not just put up great individual stats but one that can truly lead a team and make them better. We can also relate to a much maligned player with a HUGE chip on his shoulder.

I think one major trade was missed - Dennis Schröder to OKC and Mike Muscala to the Sixers for Carmelo Anthony (who was immediately waived), Justin Anderson (left in free agency) and OKC's first round pick in 2022. Why is this trade so important - well given the current trajectory of OKC being bad on purpose, the Hawks could get a top lottery pick in 2022.

The Hawks were definitely not mostly healthy going into that EC Finals series vs the Cavs in 2015. Their best defender, Thabo Sefolosha, was out . . because the NYPD broke his leg while arresting him. And our 2nd best wing defender, DeMarre Carroll, who was also lighting up from 3, hurt his knee and was hobbled in that series. So the 2 guys who could've possibly slowed down Lebron, were out or significantly hobbled.

I think you missed the part about Thabo Sefolosha and that injury he sustained to his hand due to the altercation with the police. That cannot be understated, as he was easily one of their best defenders and would have impacted that Cleveland series.
