Several years later, a reply! Don't try to make liner symmetrical. Our eyes aren't symmetrical, and doing your liner that way can make both look odd. I get compliments on my liner wings being symmetrical, but it's an illusion. Work with your eye shape to balance both. The outer corner of my right eye is a little thicker, but they loo the same because of this crucial balance.

i am so glad she mentioned the stripper burlesque thing.i did both.i had to make money.but in my shows at the strip joint i tried to add more of a "production value"to my act.i always got dirty looks from girls who were only into burlesque when they found out i was a stripper.

Dita I think you are doing a wonderful job with your image & shows. I am a retired dancer/stripper who worked at night clubs. I truly wish I would have gotten into burlesque arena & featured dancing. Watching it makes me feel like I missed out big on not doing those type of performances

I must admit I wasn´t so sure about her. I used to think that shes kind of fake (sorry JoyousinJesus), but this interview really changed my mind. They are sort of like showgirls imo and some just have better costumes and production like she said. There is a more vintage feel to burlesque too they usually use older music to create a different mood etc. It's theatrics with sexual overtones.
