Lebanon-based Hezbollah has literally hammered Israel in a fresh attack. Hezbollah militants used their deadly Falaq, Burkan rockets to pound Israel. According to Hezbollah, high value Israeli targets were pummelled in the attack. The group claimed to have carried out around a dozen attacks. Israel, too, has admitted suffering heavy damage in northern Israel. This report has full information.

Injustice and tyranny for the last 76 years? 2 million Arabs live in Israel as Israeli citizens and are given full civil liberties including voting rights. They serve in the Israeli government, are free to practice their faith and can engage in any occupation they want. So where is this "injustice and tyranny"? If you're talking about Gaza and the West Bank, Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005 giving the Gazans their freedom and twice offered virtually all of the West Bank to the Palestinians, who rejected both offers. Finally, how do you define victory? The destruction of Israel? What would happen then to the 7 million Israeli Jews if their country is destroyed? Care to speculate on that? I'll be waiting for your answer.

@@johnlay3040 What was taken by force only came about when the Arabs rejected statehood for the Palestinians and launched a war to eradicate Israel. If the Arabs had accepted the UN partition plan, the Palestinians would have been living in their own independent state. There were also 800,000 Jews kicked out of almost every Arab country beginning in 1948 which people don't seem to talk about. From 1948 to 1967, Jordan controlled the West Bank and Egypt controlled Gaza. Why didn't either country grant the Palestinians a state? Israel imposed the blockade on Gaza 18 months after it withdrew. The 10/7 massacre should give you a clue as to why it was imposed. And I never heard of a prison where its inmates can dig tunnels, smuggle in weapons, fire missiles and paraglide over the walls. In 2000, Israel offered virtually all of the West Bank to the Palestinians for a state with East Jerusalem as its capital. Most of the settlements could have been removed, with Israel keeping the large settlement blocs near the green line for security purposes. Clinton made sure Arafat understood everything that was being offered to him. Arafat said no to everything, never made a counter offer and started another intifada which cost over a thousand Israeli lives. A similar offer was made by Ehud Olmert in 2008, which was also rejected. If Israel said today they will lift the blockade on Gaza and remove all its settlements from the West Bank, will that be the end of the conflict? Will that satisfy the Palestinians Will that be acceptable to Hamas? Will that satisfy Hamas' patrons in Iran who for 45 years have been calling for the destruction of Israel?
