G7 nations including U.S., UK, Australia, Italy, Canada and EU fume after Nagasaki snubbed Israel for its annual event. United States and the United Kingdom said they would no longer attend the event. The mayor of Nagasaki has defended his decision not to invite Israel and said G7 threat is unfortunate. Watch.

No country has suffered nuclear devastation like Japan, that is why they consistently oppose nuclear proliferation. The memory of those who perished in Hiroshima and Nagasaki is probably very sacred to them. Who they invite or not invite is strictly their prerogative and should be respected, Those trying to turn this into a political event are wrong.

They went and pissed on the biggest bully on the planet at the time and cry like little bitches when it was payback time, and now after getting the mother and father of all beatings, they try to get the moral hi ground, like they are the victims or something. They fucked around and was only fair to find out... except they look like they forgot the lesson, since they are now supporting the muslim terrorist... people so bad that even other muslim countries refuse to help in any way. I was fortunate enough to participate in a diplomatic musical tour singing with Bel Canto Voices as a teenager in 1989 in Ibaraki & Osaka, as well as several other cities in Asian countries. Our performances there and when we came back were devoted to commemorating peace. I love my host family from Japan, and I love the elected officials and the people of Japan who stand up for peace. Mayor Suzuki, you are ABSOLUTELY right to not invite a nation engaged in actively committing genocide, but esp. not while memorializing the victims, families and communities of those who died in the atrocious atomic bomb attacks. Government leaders here who have become corrupt and beholden to AIPAC may swear their undying devotion to Israel regardless of their behavior, but the citizens of America are committed to peace, and stand with you. 🕊☮️✊️💝🙏

Seventy years ago, on August 6th 1945, the US government dropped an atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. Three days later, another atomic bomb was dropped on the city of Nagasaki. Hiroshi Harada, 75, still remembers how his leg sank into one of the bodies blocking a narrow Hiroshima street as he fled the spreading fire ignited by the atomic bombing. Later that day, a girl grabbed Harada, who had just turned six years old, by the leg and asked for water. He stepped back in horror to find a chunk of flesh from her hand sticking to his leg. These 2 nuclear bombs killed 500,000 WOMEN AND CHILDREN AND NOT A SINGLE JAPANESE SOLDIER. This was a war crime. Around the world it is known as one of the biggest crimes against humanity. According to my teacher it is the biggest act of brutal terrorism ever recorded in world history. And those responsible of this heinous crime against humanity should be judge on all history books as cowards and terrorists ...I know we can not change what we did to all the women and children of Hiroshima and Nagasaki but we can change what our high school history books in California teach us about this crime against humanity. I know that our History books of today are much more accurate than the ones our education system was using when my mom and dad were in high school. Thus, I know that one day, thanks to our great history scholars, our schools' history books will say the truth about Hiroshima and Nagasaki. IT WAS A WAR CRIME HERE ON EARTH AND IN GOD'S KINGDOM

The history books should also teach that Great Britain was co-responsible for the atomic bombing of these two cities. The Quebec Agreement signed in August 1943, between the USA and Britain, stipulated that the US and UK would pool their resources to develop nuclear weapons, and that neither country would use them against the other, or against other countries without mutual consent. From this follows that the US, in order to use nuclear weapons against Japan, needed Britain's previous consent. They obviously got it and proceded to bomb. Brothers in crime, joined at the hip.

The only reason countries are fighting for Israel is because they're so politically entrenched with them. It was easy for the world stage to dismiss South Africa because many of the influential powers had little to no (known) association with South Africa. What's even crazier about the history is that the Z!0n!sts were friends of the National Party, and even participated in joint nuclear tests with South Africa during Apartheid. South Africa even supplied them nuclear materials for their nuclear program.

Israel is the most belligerent nuclear power and has threatened to use its nuclear weapons in its “Samson Directive” if it is facing defeat in war. As the only nation to ever have nuclear weapons used against it in anger, it is Japan’s right to “snub” the greatest danger to world peace presently. I don’t even know why they invite the US, who were the very people that dropped the bomb on them. If Russia (who lost 20+ million lives during the war against Nazi Germany) can’t be invited to the anniversary of D-Day but Germany can, then Japan can choose not to invite the most uncontrollable, hot-headed nuclear power in the world to their remembrance of the Hiroshima bombing.

And the main purpose for dropping the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was to show the Soviet Union the new super weapon its former allies now have in their hands. 1) One Israeli far-right minister, Eliyahu, back in November 2023, many times in public spoke of NUKING Palestinians to get rid of them once and for all. Although he was suspended right away by Netanyahu over his multiple declarations, it’s no wonder that Nagazaki’s mayor wishes to keep popular protests to a minimum, especially as nuclear war remains a threat in the Middle East as a result of what has been happening in Gaza with innocent civilians and children. 2) US’s and UK’s joint protest to the non-invitation of Israel shows the degree to which these nations attribute impunity to Israel, despite the International Court’s latest decision. It also shows the double standard Israel/Russia. 3) It’s ironical how the US ambassador behaves. It is not their country that did not get invited. So why should the ambassador decline the invitation and cause drama when the reason behind the memorial has to do with US direct involvement in the atomic bomb which caused devastation, death and diseases over several generations. I would expect the US to adopt a low profile for the occasion. Just saying… because I am a tiny bit shocked and deeply concerned by the reactions. I no longer feel safe with G7 reactions as a whole, to tell the truth.

Thank you! Who complains abiut the guest list at the funeral service for the person they're responsible for making deceased. Revolting. Silence is the least the G7 could have done. A formal complaint? I'm more ashamed of my nation's actions here 🫥

G7 doesn't seem like a peace making organisation. Then why is it created for what??? By who???
@jadevinceul3433
@jadevinceul3433 24 күн бұрын
@@zeshanbeig24 No, I agree. Not a peacemaking organization at all. It was created in the 1970s in response to OPEC’s oil embargo and the economic crisis which resulted from it. Member states were supposed to face any future economic crises together (France, Japan, US, UK, Italy, Canada and Germany) and to protect the free market system. Russia was excluded from it when it annexed Crimea. In many ways, the creation of G7 wished to be a show of force amidst the depression and beyond. It is part of containment history as well. Is it useful? I have no idea.

The only reason they think it would be misleading is because it makes their narrative harder to perpetuate when their allies disagree on their perspective of Israel. The US and other G7 nations are "thinking about the optics" and what potential ramifications that will have in their support of Israel moving forward. Lets also not forget that Israel has the Samson Option which specifically outlines plans to use nuclear munitions against civilian populations should they be losing any war fought against them. The US wants to preserve the universal message behind Nagasaki by inviting a state that will perform the same actions the very message of Nagasaki is against? Ridiculous

"The Nagasaki and Hiroshima memorials are for humans to get together and share their common love for humanity and to discourage against war.
