All have gone astray from The Way after accepting the Lord. Christ gave us the solution to this dire spiritual situation. Anyone that has promulgated the same lie on at least 3 occasions (the law of three in the Bible [Christ questioned by Satan 3 times; 3 measures hidden in the Parable of the Leaven; 3 assaulters in the Parable of the Good Samaritan; 3 denials by Peter of knowing the Lord]), has separated himself/herself from the Lord, requiring the below necessary steps (Revelation 3:18, 3:20) according to Scripture: One must ask the Lord to anoint one's eyes with eye salve such that one sees Him again (as Satan blinds his traitorous converts [2 Cor 4:3-5]). And zealously repent of one’s heresies, lies against the Lord, against His Word (Pro 30:5-6, Psalm 58:1-3). Then, one must say a new salvation statement unto the Lord such that the Lord comes in and sups with him/her and he/her with the Lord. One must diligently seek Him, as He is a rewarder of one that seeks Him. (Hebrews 11:6) And, as all have gone astray (Psalm 119:176, Isaiah 53:6, 2 Peter 2:15), falling from grace after accepting the Lord. To renew one's fellowship with the Lord, say the prayer in Rev 3:18 and 3:20, as the Lord abundantly pardons (Isaiah 55:7), bringing you back into fellowship with Him, Who had initially saved you, just like He did with Peter. Christ is waiting for Pastor Laurie. Thus, he must bow his head before Him with a contrite/broken heart/spirit (Psalm 34:18, 51:17) for any lies spoken against Him, against His Word. (Psalm 58:1-3, Proverbs 30:5-6, John 12:47-48) He should not be too proud to not do this, as pride goes before one's fall into the Pit. There is still time. But time is running out. I pray that the Lord pardons your transgressions. After one does this, say nothing contrary to the Word again, guarding the doors to one's mouth. I am a watchman on the wall for my Lord Jesus Christ.

My understanding of that particular scripture is that talking the talk isn’t the same thing as walking the walk with the Lord in the power of the Holy Spirit. It sounds like Jesus is talking about people who just talk to talk versus having a relationship with the father through the redeeming work of Yeshua - where, in the power of the Holy Spirit, we allow ourselves to be transformed, and where we put his goals first place in our life, the things that He does. Jesus always did what he saw his father doing, and said what his father was saying. Meeting together with other believers is God‘s plan for us to encourage one another to obedience to him, which is a lot more than prophesying or casting out demons. But it includes that sometimes. But none of it has any foundation without being built on a relationship with our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ, Understanding that our salvation is not, and never has been, based on any work that we do (And that even our faith is a gift from God, that no man should boast). We were designed for good works, we were designed to work under the guidance of his Spirir, and within the parameters set forth for us in the first place, even before we were born. None of which will violate His word. And we can only figure that out in close relationship with him, And by being in the word of God.

What would make me leave a church, if the Pastors lifestyle is questionable. Living a different way than what is in the bible. It does not mean he is not human and get weak sometimes. The church is a hospital and sick people are there. No one is prefect, however there must be good godly moral character. I must make sure I am in the vain of pleasing God and not man. That I may live a life that is conducive to what the word states

I don't have anything against a pastor wearing a suit when they preach, but is there a scripture anywhere in the bible that if you don't wear a suit your dishonoring the pulpit, plus I don't see anywhere in the bible that Jesus or the disciples used a pulpit or wore a special garment when they shared the gospel, if Christians insist that pastor's ought to be looking dressy in some kind of expensive suit, then their just making it a legalistic issue, with that being said, the pulpit is only an object or piece of furniture on which to set your bible and notes on , there's nothing sacred about it, the preacher is God's mouth piece, and the word of God that proceeds out of his mouth is what is sacred, that's only if it is not watered down or misinterpreted in any way shape or form, I'm just saying.

It's not what's being worn; it's the message being taught. The apostles and Christ didn't wear "Sunday best". Dressing up was about status going way back. It had nothing to do about respect. In the 1900s, it was somewhat closer to respecting the church but for too many it was about being seen. Clothes don't make a person, it's what's inside that counts.

I always hear this kind of talk from folk when Pastor’s try to dress honorably for the position they have been given by God. These same people that are fussing about a pastor not needing to wear a suit while addressing a congregation, will put on their suit to attend their own family’s funerals and weddings. Come on! Let’s give honor to the Lord! He deserves more respect than our own family! The President of the USA would not be taken seriously in skinny jeans with holes and tennis shoes to address the nation. My wife has a prominent political position and it is required that she respects the position she holds. And that she also respects the state that she is representing.

Pray for him out loud in his hearing when he is in bed. When you know he isn't asleep, but he thinks you think he is asleep and doesn't know: school, exams, sports, peace, his needs, him to encounter God, against nightmares and attacks of the enemy. Then profess a Psalm over him like Psalm 23. If he is asleep it is okay too. Just do it consistently and pray as the Holy Spirit leads. It will make a difference. And amen! In the 1980s i attended a church that was on the small side to be in with we came ready to minister to God. We've been studying the word all week. To give you a little understanding we would greet one another by saying I want to show you what I found in the word this week. It was such excitement and a personal investment into her own spiritual life we weren't going there to be fed. We were going there to come together in the celebration of our Lord Jesus christ. It wasn't a place where we were beaten up all week and we collapsed on the steps. I'm not saying that you don't go through battles that's not what I'm saying. We were prepared for battle we were a disciples of the word of God. I don't see that much anymore in any Christian I know. This is where the problem is...

My thoughts exactly! I have been attending a church, one of my best friends is the choir director and I’m a singer. I have not moved my membership there. It never felt right, but I love my friend as much as a person can love a friend and a sister. This church has now voted to allow the alphabet people in the pulpit. I can’t stay there. This is against my Bible and my God. I believe no action is action and to stay there is to condone their principles, or lack of them. Around 2003, I had dream that I was in complete darkness screaming, “BEWARE THE GREAT APOSTASY!”. I kept saying it over and over again. When I woke up I was saying it out loud. At the time, I didn’t know what that word meant so I looked it up. I was shocked that it meant to turn away from one’s faith. I couldn’t understand how that could possibly happen or what it could even look like. All these years later, it all makes sense.
