I might be about to be made a television star, I have lived in a supported living flat since Thursday, and never really lived alone before, although I have totally fallen in love with the flat already, since I moved in on Thursday, I have had no hot water whatsoever, and my mum, and dad have had to keep rushing to me to drop me home so I can have a hot shower or bath. Also I have had two or three support sessions lost already, so I was off from 19 February until Yesterday, so Saturday Evening my support did not arrive, so I used my oven for the first time, doing Chicken Korma , and Rice, Sunday Morning, my support didn’t turn up when it was meant to so I did scrambled egg on Toast on my own for the first time independently, so some support did eventually turn up on Sunday Morning, so we went for a walk into town, and had a drink, and I grabbed some milk on the way back, yesterday evening I got in from work, so I didn’t get the support worker that I was meant to, I basically got the person I have had an awful lot since I have moved in since Thursday, and he was pretty much ready to go home, because he can’t drive and had to catch a train, the person that I was meant to get was out with another service user, because they wanted to go clubbing. My bottom right hob is not working either. But I love this place so much, I really want it to last. And before lockdown I was with the company, they were supporting me from home for about 7 years. But I might just wind up one of my main, newest, and favourite support workers when I get him this morning, I actually did pancakes last night after he had gone, I cheated, but I might tell him what I did, and get a frying pan, and mixing bowl out, and put them both in the drainer, to make him believe I actually made them myself. I hope this is just the start, and this is the start of something truly exciting and beautiful, I am going gardening for the first time properly tomorrow morning, and that will happen weekly from then.
