Wild, I was just bemoaning how this got delisted the other day, I have fond memories of playing it drunk with friends but seeing it sober now is… yeah

It was fine for it's time, game came out in like 2013 on 7th gen consoles and was only brought to 8th gen a couple years later. We're just spoiled for good handling games nowadays that something this clunky seems dated but I remember a lot of 360 games handling exactly like this.

I nearly bought this game back when it first came out. I had it in my hands and was on the verge of going to the counter to get rung up, when I saw Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, which I hadn't heard of despite being big on the Metal Gear series. In the end, I chose Metal Gear Rising, and with the delisting it happened to work out that I ended up never playing this. I've been a bit curious about it ever since.

The way Deadpool keeps spouting non-sequitor one-liners is just a bit too Gex for me. They really needed a ton more of them, and try to match them with what's happening on screen.

As for the writer who did this run of the comic, I think I know why you (and I) didn't like it - the meta humour is only good in moderation, as a way of playing with comic book conventions and cliches rather than being the core of the jokes. It's funny when he talks about Xavier and his naivety... but this isn't that.
