Born in 1950...If I had one wish, it would be that I could take you back to my days of the late 50's thru the 60's...the music, the cars, the Saturday nights. KOMA radio, reverb, my 66 Goat, MOTOWN, the WALL of SOUND, and the nights I spent listening to these sounds...Lord how I miss them. The sounds of today just...no matter how hard they try, never come close to what we had. Forgive us Lord, for forgetting what we had...and thanks to those who have posted this and all the sounds of my day on youtube...Timi says it best...Nothing can take the place you (of this era of music).

oh yes. i miss those days,but good things also come to an end. crusing,the drive in movies, the root beer stand, the slow dancing on Sat. night for a nickel fee. the movies in downtown Fox threatre.kbbb radio for blues music. The wolfman jack ranting.oh yes. lord have mercy,i miss it all .

I have always love Timi Yuro when she sang me and my mother's favorite song, "What's A Matter Baby" Another great song by her was "Hurt" There will never be another one like her. Teena Marie would have been another like her, and miss her dearly. Love this version of Toussaint McCalls.

She sings blues with impact and soul with feeling and I have always loved this woman. First song I ever heard was " What's a Matter Baby " way back in the 60's. She sucked me in....I guess her voice is above and beyond almost all females that I have ever heard. Not is just powerful and addictive....she makes you a believer.....I love her " I'm Hurt "....Elvis butchered that song. I also love her " look Down ".
