This is just to show you the hidden problems that just visual inspection does not show. The job is a very easy job and if you have any questions I'll try to help you out the best I can. The timing is straight forward and I mainly removed the engine mount while supporting the engine to replace everything. The tensioner can be intimidating, but it's very simple. Temp install should be between about 60 to 70°F on a cold engine not driven recently and the notch that's moved will be centered in the window of the tensioner to the block. Loosen it then tighten it a couple times. After the the final procedure is to tighten it and come back to the center of the window and tighten the bolt up. Make sure to keep the hex wrench in as when you tighten it it will move the mark and you'll have to start over with the tighten and center of the mark. TORQUE THE BOLT! There are videos of there that show timing on Volvo and many other vehicles. Just line up all marks and you'll be good. Hopefully this helps if you're wondering on if you should change it or not. If you question it you probably should Change it. Good Luck!
