I live in Bibb County Alabama and not in the town of Centreville but I consider it to be my hometown. We have a thriving community and a very active Main Street organization that is bringing more people into our community. I don’t know everyone in our community but I know that we are close knit and try to be there for everyone. I have no idea what day or time of day you were there but our uptown is very active. The courthouse is very definitely being used and there is a new building that houses some of the offices for county business. We have a nice city hall past the courthouse. Also there are new businesses across the river, still in Centreville. There is a beautiful river that runs through our town also. There are a lot of citizens that don’t live in the city limits that feel like I do. We work, worship and shop in Centreville. Love my town and community.

Thank you for sharing that insight. It’s always valuable to hear directly from the locals about what’s happening in their town. Your perspective adds depth and understanding that I wouldn’t get otherwise. I appreciate you taking the time to share what’s really going on in your community.

Definitely agree bc what time of day or what day of the week did you go to our lovely town? Had to be a Sunday when NOTHING is open uptown! Let's have a redo when you come on an ACTIVE day! Much appreciated 👍🏽

You could be right! It was early on a Sunday morning, so that might explain why it seemed so empty. Thanks for watching!

Yes that’s definitely not accurate my daughter graduated from Centreville high school and it’s a nice little country town, everywhere has its problems but it’s definitely not a ghost town lol could use improvement yes! We also know how the economy is right now so, it’s just one of our beautiful little rural country towns in Alabama 🥰 next time maybe talk with some of the citizens guarantee they will be welcoming

@@orlandoprinting6620 he filmed this early on a Sunday, if he would have been later in the morning the town would have been full of people going to church.

Seriously a confederate statue sitting right in front of the courthouse. I feel sorry for the black folks who live in this town.

Oh, no doubt it's a sundown town. All of Bibb County Alabama is. Just recently someone avoiding police was found in the river. The police in the area claim he must have jumped off a cliff of his own accord resulting in his drowning death. West Blocton, AL is a good video idea. It was a mining town with abandoned coke ovens, an Irish cemetery, an empty Main St, etc..
