I'm sorry you missed your flight but if you hadn't we would not have seen the beautiful skyline of Las Vegas today of which I am grateful for. I was looking for a video of the skyline I never flew in a helicopter. I used to live in Vegas 30 years ago and thinking of moving towards that area in the future. Sometimes things happen for a good reason. Hope you made it back safely to Canada or Washington, wherever you live. Stay cool!

Stayed at the Wynn some years ago, the most incredible breakfasts, lunches, dinners. Sleeping on their beds/pillows is like floating on clouds/air. Unfortunately Las Vegas was TOO hot for me, dripping sweat even in the shade.

It's so weird to watch this video during this pandemic. Buffets will never be the same. I would imagine everyone would get gloves and a mask going through the buffet if they ever open. No licking fingers any more. All those workers out of a job right now. We had it so good just a few weeks ago. So much abundance that we took for granted.

Hi Calmcat, It is very weird indeed as so much has changed in so little time! It's definitely tough for Vegas especially. I was actually quite impresses with how the Wynn is handling things as they are covering the wages of their employees during this shutdown ... at least for 30 days. Quite a class act though it's a much larger problem. These videos were meant as an escape / entertainment showing excess and abundance; a very stark contrast now.... Thanks for reaching out. I suspect things will start up again in the medium future and things will be different...not good nor bad, just different :-). All the best to you!

Hi Sunny! That would be a great celebration! I would say the Wynn would be better choice between the two. However, you might also want to try the Bacchanal at Caesars Palace. It's like the Wynn but with more seafood offerings and an even better dessert station (probably the best dessert station in Vegas)

Hi Reel Fishing, thanks so much. The helicopter flight was actually a tour that I took from Maverick. It was quite enjoyable and I got a discounted rate of about $80 as they were trying to fill up empty seats on a weekday evening (I booked it through the concierge at the hotel). Give it a try if you get the chance... The airtime is actually quite short, but this includes pickup at your hotel and some nominal snacks and drinks. Despite the short flight time, it was very memorable.

Wynn buffet used to be exceptional. Food’s average, crab legs are extremely salty. Only good thing left is their dessert section...

I've been to many different buffets in Las Vegas so far I'm not impressed the one thing every buffet has in common is the food is not hot enough it always less than room temperature which is a big turn off Wynn buffet looks great that's my next stop.

They prepare the food quite well... Especially the made to order stations which ensure everything is fresh. If you do go, give those potato latkas a try...really tasty :-)

You gotta try M hotel - studio B buffet , I have eaten at Caesar, ballegio, Wynn, cosmo, M hotel ( studio B ) is the best buffer in Vegas, you have to try to figure it out ;) And make sure to get the sea food buffet during weekends .

Yeah, I agree that's a bit unfair. I must say that they do have one of the better vegetarian offerings. You might want to try the Lakeside brunch at the Wynn; they offer endless made to order dishes that does have a good vegetarian offering as well.

Hi Sharon, I certainly don't waste much food except one of the steaks that was cut from the carving station. I asked for a fatty piece but it was all fat...that was too much for me. But yeah, I definitely finish the food as I take only small portions; but a variety of small portions :-)
