Caesars Bacchanal - Most Popular Vegas Buffet

Looking for the most popular high end buffet in Vegas? Hands down, it's gotta be the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace. An amazing buffet offering an over the top experience that one seeks out in Vegas.
I had a chance to visit their weekend seafood dinner and this is my go-to place to experience the best Vegas style buffet...and it sure delivers. It's not cheap though at $60USD. On this visit, I opted for the 24 hour buffet of buffet passes -- giving you unlimited access of all the buffets offered by the Caesars Entertainment Group (although the Bacchanal buffet requires an additional up-charge for $35USD). Along with the amazing seafood buffet, the servers and staff are super friendly and fantastic to interact with.
Noteworthy dishes include their amazing seafood offerings, their american wagyu roast, and of course, the delectable desserts. All dishes where well made; fried items were crisp and hot, seafood was fresh and plentiful, and dishes from from different cultures were quite authentic.

Glad you also got the reservations at the Sterling Brunch -- make sure to ask the server to give you a tour first so that you don't miss anything (I missed quite a few things there). Great video. I live for the Bacchanal Buffet whenever I go to Vegas. Thankfully I'm a Diamond member so I never have to wait for more than 5 minutes, but I do think it'd be worth it if I did. Can't wait to go back next month -despite going to the buffet a number of times, I admit that I never would have thought to make a float. Something new to try on the next trip!

This is my second favorite buffet of all-time just behind the Studio B buffet at the M Resort. This buffet is pretty spread out like a maze but pretty good with all the varieties!

Hopefully by next year everything goes back to normal. Haven't gotten the opportunity to check out the Sterling Brunch but I heard great things about it. But on a side not, great job on the videos detailing the different locations of buffets in Las Vegas. Personal favorites of mine when going to buffets are crab legs, crawfish and creme brulee!

About a dozen people are regularly putting up youtube videos of Las Vegas buffets. I'm looking at yours after seeing most of the others. The camera work and the lighting in this video is superior to most all the others. It's also better than most Caesars Corp on line ads advertising their casino resorts. The camera is much more steady. The camera moves slow as it pans over the food and everything can be seen in the light. You're doing good.

Tim Lee i'm now doing 23 hour fasting 4 or 5 days out of the 7 days in a week and as you know i've been on low carb diet since march 17 2018. I started with doing 16 hour fasting every day 4 months ago.

Just be a little careful when doing extended fasts... I've had issues where it takes a long time for the metabolism to recover...take a look at Steven Phinney's video on fasting issues if you get the chance...

Hi Veronica, I bought one of those 24 hours buffet passes (in September) that lets you go to all of the buffets that are part of the Caesars Group (PH, Flamingo, Harrah's, Rio, etc)... I was going to do a review on all the buffets -- just having a hard time figuring how to edit that, but it'll be out shortly (putting the videos together are a lot more difficult than I've expected). But, I do have to say, I was quite disappointed in the PH Spice buffet -- mainly because of the offering. I did a video on that a while back which was okay, but it has declined somewhat. I think was just called: "Planet Hollywood Vegas Buffet" Thank you for watching by the way :-)

Hi sniperjay, sorry for the late reply. I wasn't a big fan of the Wicked Spoon (though I might have gone on an off day). Hands down, I would say Caesars is the one to visit out of all buffets. Very grand and huge selection (great quality too). Hope you have a chance to try soon! (you might also want to consider the Sterling Brunch on Sundays at Bally's). Expensive but it's amazing and memorable.

For sure, funny thing is our friend was just asking that same question. The Caesar's bacchanal is certainly one of the better ones on the strip and you can't go wrong here. A little further down the strip is the Bellagio which is also very nice but certainly second to Caesars. They have stuff like caviar and king crab which the Caesars don't have, but it is somewhat smaller. If you want to go really far south of the strip , the m resort with their studio b buffet is very very nice. I hope that helps. Most of the other higher-end buffets have the similar types of seafood. Can't really go wrong either way. I hope that helps :-) have lots and lots of fun on your girl's trip. :-)

Extraordinary Sunday buffet, until it's not. Caesars will close it to the public unexpectedly for a private event for their VIP gamblers club. I'm not stupid enough to be a VIP gambler, so my family and I were disappointed when we could not get in.

Tried this for the first time 2 days ago. I had the impression going in that it was not only the biggest, but the best quality of the Vegas buffets. It did not live up to that expectation. I found a lot of the food lacking in seasoning. The prime rib was bland and on the tough side--that is the main thing I hope to be good on a buffet. A lot of things that were supposed to be hot in temp were only luke warm. Chicken curry was okay. Asparagus very woody. Sliced bbq pork was flavorless, and its not the same to try and season it after it is cooked. Creme brulee was good. If you eat the oysters, especially late in the shift take care--it is the main complaint on Google reviews--they should be chilled below 38 to hold up. I think the Paris buffet is much better tasting--not as many choices though.

Great honest feedback Brewster102! I did like the other areas though... desserts, tacos, chowders... Didn't notice the issue with the oysters but definitely should watch for temp. Did you get a chance to try the Sterling Brunch? You might find that one to be quite good 🙂

Thanks David -- I saw your comment about the line-ups in your video! I guess nothing much has changed as I allocated about 2.5 hour buffer in case ant that still wouldn't have been enough time. Mandarin or Cantonese ? -- I speak neither well :-) -- I can speak Cantonese in a conversation though and with a lot of hand gestures and acting, I can get by in a simple Mandarin conversation :-) How is baby boy doing? Hope big sister is doing well also :-)

I think my KZbin's career is basically over or at least on hold for the next few years..the only contents that I can pump out are cruise stuff, local restaurants and how to videos 😒

Hi David, doesn't Mark Wiens have a young family as well? I'm very impressed how you can get the videos out with everything going on... They're very good because you're sharing some really great spots and personal moments with your family -- very enjoyable to watch especially the Mr Sanchos, and the other vacation videos (with the conch etc). Certainly keep it up! By the way, I think you can write of the cost of production as a tax expense (at least in Canada you can) :-) I've just been seeing cheap flights to Vietnam and am really tempted to go :-)

Hi Sally, I bought one of those "24 hours" buffet passes that lets you go to all of the buffets that are part of the Caesars Group (PH, Flamingo, Harrah's, Rio, etc) for 24 hours. I think the regular cost of the weekend dinner buffet is $60USD -- I usually put about 18% tip (15% and round it up 0 as my math isn't too good :-)) The 24 hr buffet pass is about $75 USD for the weekends BUT there is a $30 up-charge for the Caesars Bacchanal buffet! Thank you again!

Hi J D, anyone can go for the buffet... however the lineups can be long especially for the weekend. I suggest going their early. If this is your first time, this is a really good buffet to go to. If you want the best though, I'd suggest the Sterling brunch ..(reservations are 3 months in advance but if you go early on a Sunday, the have a few 1st come 1st served spots at the bar).
