Still coming back to this vid, “Human”, “The High” & “River” video’s @LEAST once a week!! This is the routine that introduced me (just stumbled across 1 day) to not only the magnificent & unique choreography of Galen Hooks (yellow) but the amazing standout Jade Chynoweth (pink)! Jade has that “IT” factor that whenever you see her appear in a group dance vid, you can’t see anyone else. She is def headed for the big time. Plus, she seems like a sweet & genuine young lady in an industry that is very competitive & cutthroat.

Galen’s choreos are so interpretive and versatile. Like even in the beginning, the first girl was desperate, galen was angry, the third was carefree and sexy. And all of them worked. Her choreos are so beautiful it hurts.

I've personally come back to this exact video so many times already. I think it has something to do with the three front ladies of the different groups. They're so unique and diverse; Galen is so elegant, every move she makes is so powerful though it is so small. Jade is so fierce and full of emotion in this routine, every move she makes is big and rough which is so magic to look at. And then there's Alyson, who is sort of angry and confused, her dancing more flowy, not so bound to the choreograph. I am amazed, this was amazing and perfectly put together with the three different front ladies. Love, love, love it! Keep up the good work, Galen!

BjSoEl My thoughts exactly! It's interesting to see how the lead in each group exhibit different personalities to express how the song makes them feel and how it may have influenced their life. I think Alyson's moves were clean but showed playfulness, spite, and wonder.

BjSoEl Its so funny that you mentioned that! The three ladies in the front actually make me think theyre trying to portray the different stages in being in a relationship. Galen, for example represents the break up, where she portrays anger and resentment with her emotions. Jade, I feel is the healing stages after a break up, where she tries to find peace with the previous relationship as she shows her grace and ambition on her face. Lastly, I think that Alyson successfully defines what goes on after meeting someone new and falling back in love, so she looks somewhat confused and dramatizes i guess what you can call carefulness with her moves. Idk but thats just my interpretation along with this song.

I've always looked at Galen's performance as sheer heartbreak over knowing it's over, Jade's as anger that she's not quite over the heartbreak yet, and Alyson's as a desperate plea to keep the relationship going, until the end where they all realize that maybe it was for the best that they move on. The ending always just seemed so enlightening, like they could take a deep breath finally. What a wonderful choreo, always impressed!

I found each leader in the each of the four choreographed sessions telling a different story 1. Broken, heartache, street savvy, annoyed at herself for falling for the lover 2. Naive before meeting the lover, now hurt and reflecting, still innocent 3. Gotten through the heart break for the most part ready to move on but still can't imagine why she remembers the good times with the lover.

The man in the last dance is a beautiful dancer who really did something different with the choreography and executed the dance so perfectly. I think he comes of as one of the less recognised figures within this video because of his less dramatic, modest approach however if you take the time out to watch him in particular you'll realise that he's executed this dance brilliantly. His long limbs and the way he uses them also look great in the more extended positions in this dance!

Galen Hook’s choreographies never cease to leave me in awe. She’s so unique and puts all of her emotions in every movement. Many parts of her dances can look simple to imitate but it’s HARD to imitate the power that she puts into them.

They have different style in dancing the first one was kinda fierce and hurt at the same time while the second one was kinda hurt and broken while the third is kinda mentally abuse and like she's manipulated or something and I love them all for doing different style.....LOVE
