Very good! I liked it better than the one I watched from Timney. After watching this one I knew which trigger spring to use... The other guy was in a race, for some reason. I had to keep stopping, rewind and rewatch. I am sure he had done it a dozen times, but I hadn't and wanted it a bit slower, which vance did, and the cameral angles & lighting were better. GOOD JOB!

Thank you! Much better than the video from Timney. My parts looked a bit different, and the spring wind seemed backwards. your video showed it up close enough to get it done. Awesome.

I just installed the Alpha in my PSA Dagger and I first used the silver spring but the trigger would not reset. So I put the red spring in and it's working fine. Just thought I'd share. Oh yeah... this thing is like butter. 😊

Awesome video Andrew I had no idea you were doing videos for Vance's . I'm going to be installing one of these in a shadow systems gun today so this was very helpful. Hope all is well and can't wait to shoot some matches with you this year.

My timney alpha has a good amount of creep and feels pretty heavy. Breaks clean but was hoping there would be zero creep and a lighter pull. Good thing it's only $150

EXCELLENT! Best video on the Alpha Install. The Timney Factory Video install sucks...can't see bad, light and doesn't present well. I'll probably buy the Timney now because of your presentation Andrew. Though I would have liked to see a poundage pull.THANKS

I'm got this trigger and going back to factory. Regret wasting $150 on it. Problems resetting. Tired of trying to make something work that does not work

After several hours of frustration and phone calls to Timney, my Gunsmith gave up trying to install the comp trigger into my stock Glock 19 Gen 4. However, he did test installing it in his Glock 19 Gen 3, and it installed and functioned perfectly. Timney indicated on his last call that they had incurred some defective parts in their mfg. process causing issues for installations for Gen 4 pistols. Since I wasted $$ with the Gunsnith attempts I sold the Timney kit to him at a discount. I plan on my future purchases with Mcarbo in the future since I've incurred no previous issues with their trigger kits.

For those with an 80% build remember you have two block pins not one. I didn't and was scratching my head why I couldn't get it out. And yes, yes I built the the thing myself. (don't judge me) Otherwise the Timney works great in it.

it is nearly impossible to get the silver spring on the trigger, I think i got a lemon sample. cause all my others worked fine

Hello every time i try to put the silver spring in, it always falls out. Do you have any tips to help fix that because it’s driving me crazy to the point I want to sell it.

We recommend that you reach out to Timney regarding any issues. Or call your local gun shop and see if they have a certified gunsmith available to help.

My trigger, the actual physical trigger came with a tiny hole in it for sliding the end of the spring in, then you post it on that boss on the trigger and finish the rest of the assembling. Very helpful for retaining the spring. Mine works like perfectly.

I reduced the trigger pull from 6 lbs to 3 lbs. So light I double tapped 4 times at the range.

I hope you don't use that same gun as your CCW. You'll blow right thru that 3lbs of pull with adrenaline pumping. I was blowing thru that even at the range. It's like you actually have to focus to feel that stop.

Thank you for the instructional video, just subscribed to your channel. Thanks again… if I might make a suggestion… your content is great but at times.. the music is distracting and makes it harder to hear what you have to say. I turned the volume up to hear you better, but then the music got overpowering around the 2 to 3 minute mark or so. Maybe you turned up the music on purpose at that point as that is when you were working on the tedious C washer .. Anyway thanks again.

Unfortunately no. Timney does not currently make a trigger for the Glock 48.

Installed mine and its double tapping for some reason. Range officer said the trigger is binary? Contact customer service we'll see what happens. Lots of issues and threads about it.

I'm going to buy a 4th gen G17 that has this trigger in it, but I want to put the trigger in my 3rd gen G23. Do you know if it's the same? I assume so because it's called the Gen 3-4 trigger.

Yes. This trigger will work in the GEN 3, G23.

The description on the box says it does, but mine won't work. Trigger bar seems to hit on right side of rail and to the rear of the receiver. Thinking I'm sending it back.

My trigger doesn’t even catch the firing pin. When the slide goes forward the firing pin is released.

I can't tell if the trigger housing p80 uses is different than oem. Is there a round hole on the bottom for access to the screw on the red timny part that slides in? All there is on the p80 part is a small slot that's skinnier than the screw. This trigger kit is frustrating me big time. If anyone can answer this, I'd be grateful. I can't tell what I am missing. Thanks.

The trigger housing (I.E. Ejector Block) on the P80 is very similar to the Gen 3 Glock trigger housing but not exact. I had to slightly modify the hole in the bottom in order to use the Timney Trigger in the P80 Ejector Block. It's easy to do, just take your time so you don't ruin the part. -Andrew
