I`m sorry but Timo did not drive Peugeot in 1984. This is propably San Remo 1985,Timo classified 2nd after Walter Röhrl/Audi S1

This Peugeot had 900° steering wheel rotation? Seems like it would be very hard to countersteer with such a high degree.

It's a must (900degrees) since no powersteering (too unreliable in rally cars back then). U can see steering wheel still wiggle quite a bit(harsh movements) and him fighting it. I remembered seeing few of these older videos and those drivers were massaged in mid-day service too. That tells their bodies were on limit when driving.
