Dear Timo.. I'm waiting for you in Houston after Dusseldorf, Budapest competitions. Last time in Budapest 2019, you had the virus and at the same time, as an audience, I had the virus as well. It was a terrible night, I couldn't go to the venue for 2 days. I believe it was about the air condition which was very poor in the venue. I hope it won't happen again in Houston for both of us lol. It would be very interesting to know how the timing in activating the muscles during the phases of a stroke should be. In German there is a word called "Vorspannung" often used when explaining a stroke. It is often said that muscles should be relaxed during a stroke. These two things "Vorspannung" and "staying relaxed" are somehow contradictory to me.

I loved your game with Quadri! I liked the exibition at the end. I'd like to see videos about staying in shape for table tennis at your age. I say that as I'm about 5 yrs older than you and am amazed by people like you and Samsonov who managed to stay competitive in their 40s! But now you're entering a different phase in your life, as am I. It's important to remain in shape and keep your body healthy even as your abilities lesson as you get older. Can you give us specific techniques away from the game, like exercises and healthy food options?

Noticed when you serve, you just throw the ball high enough but still very spinny. Can share why some people want to throw the ball high and very high? What’s the advantages of doing so to the server and also from the receivers point of view? Thanks.

Faster ball means more possibility for more Rotation and as a reciever it can be distracting if you have to wait for an eternity while the ball falls down

When you throw the Ball quite high, the eyes take longer to follow the Ball than it falls. So your opponent May Not See how exactly you Touch the ball with the Racket.

Distraction, also throwing the ball higher means it'll fall quicker but that only works to a point until it hits terminal velocity and it hits that very quickly since it's light and has quite a bit of air resistance
