Wire brushed is such a quick finish to get, yet looks so good ! All my stuff end up having that finish 😂

Having fun is the best reason. The finish is sweet; you forged it, and it should look like it was forged. "Predecessor Tomahawk" is a great name.

Your attention to detail when making this Tomahawk is incredible. The simplicity of the piece is incredibly satisfying and really shows your skills as a blacksmith.

That is pretty cool! And the name "Predecessor" has a pretty nice ring to it. As a history nerd, I'm also a sucker for the "As Forged" finish. Nice work as always.

Sitting in my soon to be blacksmiths workshop, sorting through the boxes, just mounted the TV on the wall and started watching blacksmithing/knifemaking videos to set the scene in the shop! The Tomahawk would be so welcome here.

I love that you kept the forged finish on this one, it looks so good. The box looks really cool with that black stain as well. Overall I think it turned out very nicely!
