Once again two thumbs up brings back a lot of memories working with dad and grandpa in shop all winter our shop was only 30x40 with 14ft ceilings and no insulation and an old wood stove 150 degrees by the stove and 10 feet away you could see your breath. By the way Wes I hope Tim doesn't ever get really mad at you some day because if he was really mad he could probably put you inside the tire air it up and no one would ever find you. I know I wouldn't want him to get ahold of me

Tim is a good young man. You are blessed with great kids. We all should remember those short tempered days at least he will work. Kids today need to be taught about work ethic.

Yup Tim is a good guy !! he is still on the learning curve a little bit as we all are at his age, Dun lops disease, haven't heard that in a while!! I have it too!! I worked at I.B.M. for 32 years and we swapped managers there quite often, and one of them, Fred Smith was our newly appointed manager and while he got up in front of our group he had to poke his shirt in his pants and with that he said, " You have to excuse me I have Dun Lops disease", We all looked inquisitive ! He said " that's where your belly --- Dun lops ---- over your belt" we all laughed !!!! Fred was a real good manager though, May he truly rest in peace !! Yup Ive had my tractor and truck tire changing fits tooo living in a farm neighborhood !! Good video as always.

Wheel laid flat under load of bales using jack to try and push off bead petrol & who knows what, big hammer. In the UK we used to have a hammer called the Monday hammer (why ??) answers on a post card. You made the job look easy.

household dish soap works reasonably well for tire lube. Sometimes adding a little bit of water is more slippery but the thicker stuff works for sticking beads to a rough rim.

About that white lettering. I seem to remember my local engine performance shop sold white pens for touching up the lettering on the old hotrods. If that helps you find an easy way to letter your tires great.
@thomasedwards876 жыл бұрын
hi just see you at your tyres, i dont know if you realise it or not but you need not pump up a cold tyre to what is recommend as in the winter as the rubber is cold and shrunk if you leave it like that and check it some hot summers day you will see the presssure will be lower, but love your act , you are enteraining and a good laugh cheers

If your tires wear out so quick, would you try the trelleborg tires, cost is more but they last longer.
@cathalcronin28647 жыл бұрын
Hi Wes I was wounded if if you have ever tried putting the tires on the opposite direction here in Ireland a good few contractor do it to decrease wear on the rubber when turning espically on the front tires you can simply do this by swapping rims
@nigelford67777 жыл бұрын
It also decreases wear when doing a lot of road use, plus then when the outside has worn down (as it always seems to more)swop them back and not only will the wear even out but the tread will be more even when the lugs are thus shorter giving better grip for longer in the tyre's life. However do I detect the lugs are longer on the outside of this make and so are handed for left & right fitment? ...& Cathan was of course wondering not wounded!
@charlespatten68717 жыл бұрын
keep up the good videos hope the new tractors are doing well for you just wondered how come you've never turned the front tyred the other way round on your loader tractor to reduce wear I no it can sometime look nasty but does look good if there wide

How many hours do you get on those tyres? We run Kleber tyres doing all loader work in concrete silage pits shift around 5000 bales of baleage and alot of road work on a similar sized tractor and get 4000 hours out of them. The original tyres were over 5000 hours when 1st replaced. we did damage one front tyre on a gate post hinge and replced it with a Firestone and it only lasted700 hours. Why are they so popular in USA they are a budget tyre in New Zealand
