Narration was very good, however in bits where the music and the narration were both on the music was a bit loud and made it difficult to hear you sometimes. Great build though and good to see you back

Cheers Ian. Yeah… iMovie usually auto edits speech and music. Usually. I did have manually edit some parts, looks like I missed some more.

Ah, there you are! Nice to see you again..... Personally, I've always thought the Thunderjet an ungainly looking aircraft and youve caught the essence of that perfectly. That's not meant as a back-handed compliment..... that's a terrific build! 👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻

Pretty cool to see an F-84 with the 9th fighter squadron emblem, I had a friend who was in the 9th as a crew chief on the F-117. You did an excellent job on this F-84 kit!

Great video Tim! Glad I found your channel and subscribed. I agree with you that by having everything opened on an aircraft it takes away from the overall look of it. I can see why people do it, because we all love seeing lots & lots of detail in miniature. I personally may build a few with open panels and such, but only if the aircraft will be part of a diorama.

So glad you did this kit. One thing about seatbelts. USAF cockpits from.the late 40s thru to around 55 were pretty much the same. You could get P80, T33, or F86 seatbelts and they would do the job. I'll add this because it wasn't clearly written. The cockpit weren't the same but the seat harness was. Lol

If you sand the side of the photoetch you are glueing to the model you wont have to worry about it pinging off. Sanding with 220 or 320 grit give the superglue something to bite into rather than a smooth piece. I have to say that is an absolutely beautiful finished model. Well done. Those markings came out perfect! I like the more vibrant colors for the markings, and that AK extreme metal looks fantastic. I have been using the Alclad paints for my metalics, but I have not done a full metalic finish yet. I picked up the Zotz decal set for the F84G but I think I will grab a mask set for my insignia too. I liked the narration style. You earned yourself a subscriber!

Top comment MF 🤣. I don’t like working with photoetch, you may have noticed, but yes a quick rough up is good. I’m glad I didn’t use the main decals as they were quite brittle, I struggled a lot with the stencils. Having said all this, it’s still a lovely kit. Cheers mate 🍻👌

Impressive job there, Tim....what a monster and so beautiful at the same time. I like the way you interspersed the music and speaking...the 47.00 disappeared before I knew it and the final reveal was marvellous. Given the success, will you be thinking maybe another 1/32 might be in the offing in the future??

Intriguing aircraft, as you say. Straight wings and vertical tail, heavy framing on the canopy makes it look like a prop plane- but it’s got a jet engine! I enjoyed your build but as one or two others have mentioned the music was a bit dominant over some of the narration.
