Studio One: How to Quickly A/B plugins

Nice, but very complex if I need to test 8 different compressor on a channel. Maybe a behavior like "touch to ON" in the inserts slots will be nice on Studio One, thanks!

This was great. I've had Studio One Pro for 3 yrs and always wondered why that Channel Editor would sometimes pop up and never bothered learning what it was for! haha, and now I know, a VERY useful tool. I have not used many of their stock plugins. A BEEF I have had with Presonus from the start. I contacted them early on, and asked them "where I could find their plugin manuals" since I had some Waves plugins, and their manuals are all GREAT. Guess what their answer was? "Go on You Tube and look them up there".....so much for customer service. I also like Plugin Alliance products because they ALL have good manuals, as well as Izotope.

Love it Tim! Are the channel settings something that would save in a mix template? For example, say I had 2 go-to mix bus compressors that I like using. Can I set this up and bake it into my mix template so I can quickly audition on new mixes?

Yes! This should copy into your template file and save for easy recalls and swaps later!

Daws like reaper does this better. I don't need macros for different plugins. Just toggle between selected plugins the bypass.

i use this a lot in my templates. Very quick workflow. Now if i could just work how to bypass multiple plugins that are the same that are inserted across several tracks.
