Screw those that say it is cut too short and dead. Anyone that has ever cut really tall grass knows that it is going to brown or yellow near the ground for a short while. It will always green out fairly soon. Great work as always, Tim.

Yep! Plus it’s a different kind of grass, so it’s not green all the way down like the normal grass he cut

It's all because it can't use photosynthesis at the bottom as all light is blocked out due to the length of the grass

One of the things i love about your channel is all the little extras you do, like hand weeding the beds, getting the roots of the weeds removed, removing most of the the grass clippings instead of mulching all of it. those little touches really show your true craftmanship of lawn care. Can not wait for next week.

Agree! That's why he's become my new favorite, even over all the guys we have here in the States. So many take shortcuts or get a little sloppy here and there. I never see anybody else dig out roots of nasty weeds. Al Bladez does a great job of cleaning fences, and does a good overall job too.😊 He's actually who suggested we give you try. He said you turned him on to the mask you wear. He's a good guy.

To be fair, grass in Sydney (where I assume this is) grows extremely fast. The front lawn could turn from the perfect cut that Tim has done, to how it was when he got there in just a month (especially after rain and then sunny days).

That front section went from 4 mower widths wide to 2 after cutting those edges and the sidewalk tripled in size. You're not only helping the homeowner but the community with mobility and water drainage flow on the curb side. Great work as always.

The weed whacking is my favorite part - used to do lawn detail on my parents' farm mowed 4.5 acres of wooded and landscaped lawn every weekend - before string trimmers were invented. We were one of the first people we knew to own one and it was a game changer. I can smell every one of these videos. Good times.

Great work. Would love to see a revisit to some you've done that have managed to maintain. It's not always someone who has fallen on hard times, sometimes people have bigger priorities and it actually causes them anxiety knowing they just haven't got to doing the grass.

I never used edging tools when mowing lawns when I was younger. But it made a huge difference on this lawn. More than I might have expected. It was completely night and day. Although the type of grass may be a big factor in that. What you were dealing with there seemed like some pretty unruly stuff. It took some work to tame it.

I have my set my mower on the highest setting when cutting my lawn! Our Austin Texas temps are in the 106°F range right now. And the lawn still browns. Heat will brown grass no matter how high it is. So you might as well keep it cut within reason! Great job Tim on that overgrown lawn.
