I love this beautifully haunting Darin Drown arrangement of "I Wonder as I Wander." This has been sung by the Sound of the Rockies and 2010 International Quartet Champions, Storm Front!! I hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching!! And please check out my Patreon as I work to expand my content: www.patreon.com/c/TimWaurick. You can even gift Patreon to someone! Thanks so much for your support! :)

It isn’t Christmas without Tim’s music… genuinely. Whether it’s Vocal Spectrum’s album or Tim’s tracks, there is just something so cheerful about your holiday stuff, man. Thanks for an early Christmas gift!

Starting out with a 4-part 40 second post is not fair, Tim. It's just not fair. Amazing as always.

Both you and Darin are a blessing to the barbershop world. I was lucky enough to sing tenor including this arrangement under Darin's direction at the Sound of the Rockies for 7 years.

OOOOOOOO, haunting chords, love this so much, thank you for sharing Tim.

That's fun to sing along with. Unless you're the baritone! As usual, the hardest part. But each and every baritone note simply makes the chord. And done right, it's a simply beautiful song.

Tranlsation: the baritone part is very baritone 😂

i just sung this song for juries about a week ago (or, well, the john jacob niles version)... what an incredible coincidence that one of the best barbershop singers uploads the same song!

I love this simple, poignant plaint, well an intense question, really.. What an unexpected arrangement. It maintains the starkness of the lyrics, all voices recorded at the same volume. And then the last note. 😳, This will grow on me. 3:47 Tim's stuff sounds so purposeful i can't listen more than a couple times per sitting.

Beautiful! This is in my top two performances of this chart ever. The other being singing with Sound of the Rockies as Darin directed this song during the final concert he directed the chorus.A gorgeous track, wonderful message and phenomenal talent on display, Tim always knows exactly what the song needs.

It still surprises me that I don’t think I’ve heard anything sang by you I haven’t liked! Also I wish KZbin did something similar to Spotify wrapped so I could see how much I listened to you lol. On Spotify I believe it was close to 11,000 minutes and apparently I’m in the top 0.001% of listeners for your music (I mean what better place to flex this than your comment section) there and I gotta say that every minute was totally worth it, keep doing what you’re doing you incredible person!

Wow! I'm going to have to rethink my palette of harmonies! You da man, Darin! And thank YOU, Tim, for spotlighting some of the less frequently performed, but aesthetically worthy, Christmas music.

Ohh, that final chord progression from tonic in A minor to the dominant (E major) was rich, buttery, and smooth. Amd now I want egg nog, haha! Happy Holidays, and Merry Christmas, to Tim and all the rest of you.

It’s a very beautiful voice, Tim. The blend and chordal harmonies are always thrilling; but the solo lines really highlight the tonal quality of your voice, with excellent engineering for what I presume is a home set-up too!

That super soft 3 at the end almost feels like it wasn’t sung at all… and makes me curious what the final chord would sound like if that was a 4 instead.
