In "Linving Legend" she imitates electric guitars with her voice powerfully! And scream a lot in Dealer! 😂❤

Diana Ankudinova - one of the most unique voices I have ever heard. "Wicked Game" at 14 years of age is a good start, "Rechenka" is another great one, both performances are in the same singing competition in Russia. Check out her back story, very inspiring. And no, her voice is not being manipulated, only backing vocals are added in these live performances. Another jaw dropper is in another singing competition, another cover: "I Can't Help Falling in Love With You". She is 20 in this one. Would love to see your reaction. Love your content, thank you! She has many other performances as well.

If you like her belts here, you need to listen to ''Tired Of Singing The Blues''. In that song, she sings like she's someone else. Unfortunately, there's no video, since it's basically a ''forgotten track'' of her first years in the industry, even before the pseudonym Lana Del Rey.

Lana worked out her mic and audio issues from the start of her career playing live . . . culminating in bringing in Kevin Madigan (Crosby Stills Nash and Young) for the 2018 LA to the Moon tour, which was hailed by critics in its sold-out US and Canada run. The Toronto reviewer said he left the arena with no ringing in his ears, which is unusual for a pop act. I think in this earlier live and others like it, Lana was still working out her sound, covering the mic to block audience input. Kevin Madigan worked that all out!

You have really valid points here about the possibility of her forgetting the words at some point, I was thinking the same when she was going into a mumbly style. I think the beauty of NIRVANA was that Kurt Cobain somehow made a mumbly grungy delivery sound intelligible, as did the likes of Soundgarden. You know who else that you like that covers Heart Shaped Box? Only our Ren! There’s a short but incredibly satisfying video of him busking alone in Brighton that not many reactors have covered on their channels, but they’re missing a gem, especially if they’re Nirvana fans, or even just nostalgic for some 90s grunge. Despite the relative short duration of the video, there is PLENTY in there for a vocal coach like you to break down. Truly. Type in Ren Nirvana into KZbin and you’ll find the video that’s stored in Ren’s @Renmakesstuff channel. Thank you! ❤

I could see that, it was pretty loose pitch-wise and mumbly. She did however make some interesting tones it in that I could appreciate from a ‘nerding out on voice’ standpoint. It was also interesting to hear her do some belting that I’ve never heard her do before, but yeah. I hear you.
