Yes Tim. This is the way to go as these suvs are just so practical. You get comfort for many. Perfect for a weeks grocery shopping, sports kit bags, ideal weekend breaks or touring around. Comfy cruisers. High up driving position to. Better view of the roads, especially in jams.

I'm on my second one 😅 bought the first edition and loved it! The new one is an automatic diesel. Currently have a top spec one as a courtesy car and totally in love with all the extras ,but haven't trusted the self parking yet.

Have owned the 2ltr petrol turbo FR4 for 18 months, after renting one a couple of times on ski trips. It could do with a bit more power but I like the drive, handles well on roads up to the slopes (narrow, unsealed, icy and often wet or muddy) - drives well around the city and pleasant to drive on long trips with 4 people, 2 dogs, roof box and a few paddle boards. It does everything well. Biggest gripe is the power output really

Certainly smart - much prefer it to the Tiguan or the Kodiaq, although they're both fine motors.

Btw brilliant review bro, very detailed. I still can't make up my mind wether I want the kodiac, the nx300h or the tarraco. Out of all of them the tarraco in excellence spec looks a better value for the money

Watched numerous reviews on 150 FR auto diesel. Well impressed, so ordered one via Motability. Dealer says end March/April delivery. I say porkies, more like 27/30 weeks. Looking forward to putting it through some winding roads.

Yes it does. I've had the 1.5 petrol in mine, average 37mpg. New one is the diesel 2.0, will see if that gets better economy.

You can order it with a donutsize spare. I got a spare and a subwoofer inside it. After 4 Alhambras Tarraco isn't very big inside. 4wd Alhambra would've been a better choice for me. Love the looks and driving the Tarraco though.

Two new design 'features' Discovered the car uses .5L oil every 600 miles in the first 3500 miles. i thought this was a joke until the mechanic pointed me to page 351 in the manual. Really? How is that eco friendly? and the latest design 'feature' is you can't actually lift the front wipers up when they are in the normal stop position. Genius. The headline for Tarraco should be 'The car that excels at absolutely nothing' If you want a car that struggles to obtain average, then this car is for you

Real life review. Sadly, the Tarraco is one of the most disappointingly average cars I have ever purchased. Things that are OK: - Engine (Until it needed Oil at 3500 miles) - DSG Gearbox - The Colour - Black - The wheels - 20" on the Xcellence LUX Annoying things - Seats: 'Leather' has the comfort and quality of a 1975 Morris Marina - Seats: Only driver side is electric - Seats: Not comfortable for long drives - Lighting: You need to use your camera to see in the boot and rear set of seats in the dark. One small light in the boot isn't enough - Lighting: Don't need 'Hola' shining on the floor when you unlock the car (add more lights to the boot) - Dials: You can't see how many miles you have actually done in the car if you have Auto Cruise Control enabled. You need this if you are on a miles per year contract. - Dials: Street sign recognition on UK isn't enabled. It is in the system, but not enabled - Sunblind: Designed for left handed drivers. Trust me, try and pull it down with your right hand, it can be done, but the recess is on the left side. - Blind spot or overtaking recognition: There isn't one despite this being the 'top of the range' with all the cameras you can shake a big stick at. - Third row seats: Small, but you there isn't a button to drop them down on the 22 and later model. It used to be there, but was removed for some reason. (Save cost again) If the car was 20% cheaper, a lot of the niggles could be excused, but this is a £40K (TDI model) so it needs to compete with the other £40K cars.

Every time you start the car, the cruise control is deactivated. According to the manual that is. So you will see it every time you turn the ignition on. 🤔

@@Ce0ammer And you won't have a view of the milage until you turn it off again or stop. Genius design when you consider how much space you have in the virtual dash views. No way of hiding this as a 'feaure'; it's poor lazy design.
