I viewed this one for the second time, and still enjoyed it. My art is improving by watching your working. Thank you. I post your videos as much as I can on Facebook, I hope people find you.

Hi I particularly enjoyed this painting, especially the last 15 min where you added all the little markings that brought the whole painting together. That one red spot keeps bringing the eye back to it and then you keep gazing around painting again. I also learned that quick thinking and experience may save a painting. Thank you 🎨✨

The white bit next to the boat actually looks like a small oil/fuel slick which you often get around these small boats. Looks good.

I recall once hearing you remark in one of your videos that you tape the handles of your wire bound mop brushes. How and why?
@TimWilmot4 жыл бұрын
With electrical insulation tape and to stop the wire snagging on things

My watercolor problem is that I don’t know what colors that have a lot of big pigments, so my, mostly the dark areas, get really muddy. And it’s really hard for me to get the first wash, and the mid tones light enough. It would help if you shared the tea, coffee, milk and crème thoughts.... in your excellent step by step tutorials!

Hi Tim, I am watching all the ‘boat’ demos and may be I’m missing something but sometimes the boat reflections are lighter tone than the water sometimes darker.. how do you decide? Is it because the boats are white? So, if the boat colour was yellow you would add yellow to the reflections? Btw, I agree with continuing and not giving up on the painting:) Thank you

Isn’t it strange that the things that require a bit of fixing often turn out to be a better painting than “mistake free” works.

Probably a good video, but 4 ad interruptions in 10 minutes is too jarring and distracting. Stopped watching 10 minutes in.
@TimWilmot4 жыл бұрын
Sorry about that. Google does that automatically until I can change

@emmc94374 жыл бұрын
@@denisefalbo791 I'd prefer to support content creators by letting a few ads run, so I don't use an ad blocker, but KZbin is overdoing it and making videos unwatchable.
