Finally, an reviewer that knows how to explain sound quality reviews
@BojanBojovic
@BojanBojovic 4 жыл бұрын
Explaining audio characteristics is meaningless as those words can mean anything to everyone. Decibels and hertz means much more although it is very difficult to measure the headphones.
@hellion605
@hellion605 3 жыл бұрын
@@BojanBojovic about decibels and hertz you can find on oficial info, there’s no need to repeat it on review.
@BojanBojovic
@BojanBojovic 3 жыл бұрын
@@hellion605 The same applies to "how they sound", the official site states that they are exceptional, so why repeat any of those here. Review means nothing without measurements and official units. Explaining subjective feel means nothing to others.

Great review 👍 I have IEMs costing around 10 times the price of these but I keep going back to the T2s. They are fantastic value for money. I also tried the T3s and T2 pros but they are way too harsh and sibilant with too much treble to be enjoyable.

@Psyhaxe so after a year, yeah, they are still super similar. I do though now only use the BLON BL-03 as an IEM. If you want a new IEM now, go get the BLON 01 it's meant to be an improved 03 but only 20$ on linsoul

I own both and really enjoy both, but for different reasons. The Tin T2s are just fantastic all around but they're a more relaxed, more balanced sound. You can capture a bit more bass with an EQ and foam tips or thicker silicone tips. I tend to use the Tins the gaming, I think they're fantastic for detailing environmental and ambient sounds. The Terminators are fantastic if you want high detail (but not all the detail) with a V or U shaped tune. They're not as V tuned imo as the BLONs. I don't notice sub bass rumble with them but there is less precision with the bass than the mids or highs. It's never unpleasant. I think they're very well balanced in terms of sound but they do not have much sound stage. They are definitely in your face in terms of staging. To me the detail can be fatiguing at higher volumes but I've honestly adjusted to it over time. I prefer the Shuoer Tapes to both but that's just my tastes, that's not a commentary on quality or sound, it's preference. The Tapes produce my favorite sounding low end even though the highs are paper thin. You can't go wrong with the T2s imo, but if you like V/U tuning and you want detail in all ranges, and you want a comfortable fit then the Terminators are a great value. I think they're more comfortable with silicone.

I have a T2 but I am still finding some challenges to fit in the ears at times, I gave up on the silicon tips. I am using foam tips smaller ones are easier to insert but sometimes the metal body will touch your ears and cause discomfort. I also own a KZ DQ6 it’s very nice fit. With 3 dynamic drivers. I just wanted to try some BA driver earphones and waiting for my KZ ZSX to arrive from China and the waiting is torturing hahahaha. Anyway thanks for your input. ;)

@@DarenLee I found I like the Comply Comfort tips the best for the Tin T2 precisely for the reason's you mention. I'm able to insert the bullet portion of the bud deep enough without having the metal housing pressing against my ear. I've come to settle on Final as my brand for IEMs. I have the Final VR3000s and their comfort and tonality pretty much made the Tin T2 obsolete. I think it'd be worth saving for the Final A3000 or A4000 if you're a fan of the Tin sound but want something that sound even more natural with greater comfort. I still use my Terminators but I prefer the staging and oddly, imaging of the BLONs. The ZSX is still one of the best all around IEMs I've heard and a great value for what they can do. I've since read that people struggle with their comfort due to their size and mold but for me they're one of the most comfortable in ears I've tried. I find them to be a jack of all trades/master of none, but again, hard to complain at the price point. I would recommend Final Audio IEMs however over Tin at this point. I just think they do that sound signature better.

@@dasninjastix thanks for the reply. Final is quiet costly right. I just started my IEM journey and during this pandemic I have to keep every spending low :( I guess everyone’s ears loop are different glad yours fit nicely but once awhile I still enjoy the T2. I am using the light blue memory foam tips that are Pre installed.

@@iiWiReviews Ok! Thank you! Nice. At first I found these T2 very dark and muddy. However, after a few hours of burn-in, they changed sound: more open and clear, a pleasant sound. They sound very similar to my krk studio monitors. For me this T2 has a fairly analytical sound, but with a timbre that I consider slightly dark (krk style). I don't know if the t2 pro would be better for me since they say they are more open and crisp, but I would not exaggerate with amazon returns. (ps I mostly listen to organ and chamber music). Thank you for the comparison, very helpful.

Hello, i'm using silicon tips that i got with Moondrop Starfield. It gives really a better sound on T2s. They are not too deep inside ears, it enhanced bass (and sub bass), space, clarity and dynamics. Having good tips changes a lot the sound. I can not even say that they are lacking bass this way.

i bought the kz zsx, for me they are just terrible!. sorry but my ears are bleeding right now. i am casual listener, hip hop heavy metall electro etc. the "S" vocals, kicks, drums and snares are earpiercing! you cant, you just cant adjust it with EQ settings, becuse it gets artificial and doesn't sound natural after workarround. stock eq is like knifes cutting in your ears, and to be honest, i cant hear a bass at all. ONLY purchase if you have the option to return!

It is incredible how so many words tell nothing actually. Thank you for the video, but really without some internationally accepted measures there is no way of knowing what you are talking about. Layering, separation, soundstage, this is all imaginary and it can not be described by any technical therm. Give us frequency curves, or at least how you personally perceive frequency curves of those headphones in reference to a flat one, that will be so much useful. I will give it a like that is for sure. :)
