I'm your Red Hot Beef man right here! My mom showed the burritos to me. I wasn't a fan of spicy foods. But my mom said *Son, you have to try this red hot Beef Tina's burrito." And now I am 100% hooked! the whole family and the whole town and now the city is hooked too. These burritos blow away all competition. They are SO good that it's hard to purchase them in my Shawnee/Tecumseh OK area. The shelf space is small at our stores, 4 boxes is not enough for all of us us! Lol. I feel like I hit the jackpot when I found a box of 8 or 12 burritos all in one box! 😂 Our towns need a direct source, like a Tina's Burrito store! For real! because the grocery stores and gas stations can't handle our Red Hot Beef CRAVINGS!! I'm being totally serious. I fear that it might turn into a black Friday style brawl just to bring these delicious burritos home to the family one day. They are the new Ramen but hard to find. They should be available to all. That's actually an AMAZING idea. As it is, I put them in the fridge to let them thaw instead of keeping them frozen. 30 seconds each side and it comes out perfect every time. No frozen, or worse, dry and mealy center. But canned.....genius.

Seriously..... Package the Red Hot Beef flavor filling in pouches like other companies do now with refried beans, microwave rice, tuna, chili etc. and sell em in the frozen or refrigerated section. I’m usually not a critic but the packaging won me over. The cost is good too. I like that the packaging was bright and simple. Then I opened the package. Still good. But, the burrito…bean and cheese was Tasteless, had to add multiple layers of Cholula hot sauce for flavor. Please improve the product by adding your own sauce into the product. I didn’t get much cheese either. Thank you for your time.

I'm gonna take a "middle of the road," approach here. Tina's burritos are by far, not the best, nor the worst. I do quality burritos at home. Carnitas, Mojo marinated Carne Asada, Al'Pastor. You name it, I do it. However, Tina's, Might the best of the pre-frozen microwave convenience burritos available, especially at that price point. I've had them all. I can actually detect the presence of meat in Tina's. The beans are part of the filling and fully cooked, unlike Tina's competitors, which are rock hard and freezer burnt. With that said, Tina's is an inexpensive convenience food, not delicious, not at all fancy, but not bad. That's whywhen trying to recreate a good, pre-frozen burrito, I turned to Tina's for inspiration. I opted for the larger size, but not giant, tortilla, trying to perfectly fill said burrito, with the perfect amount of filling, no superfluous tortilla, nor leakage. The amount was illusive. However, I managed. If Tina's did this, I would almost never, go through the trouble, of making this on my own. But I did, and it was delicious. I diced Chuck roast, browned it, "bloomed" classic taco spices in the fat, added finer ground beef, some wet ingredients, and simmered until tender. I allowed said mixture to cool, folded in a small amount of cheese, some refried beans, and rehydrated with my favorite taco sauce. I softened the tortillas, conservatively filled them, which the perfect amount. There was no leaking nor superfluous dough. I wrapped them in plastic, then foil. I froze them but always thawed them before heating. Absolutely delicious. Thawing is the key. Always thaw your burritos, no breakage, no crunchy frozen centers, well worth it.
