This interview is a treasure. It is spot on and everybody in it has their place. Tina knew exactly what she was getting into and she chose wisely why to go to Beckmann, and right so. She didn‘t want to be in the focus anymore, she had plenty of that during her stage career. She transcended from a superstar to a human being that is at ease with life and her place in space an time. Surely at some point this will be available in English, hopefully. Just do some research or auto-translation, it is worth it. Tina talks about how she came to Buddhism. I have never heard that story before. She says it was while she was still with Ike. While she was looking for a change in her life that she came across meditation. That it was there that she gained the strength to do the necessary steps to start her own career; at least that‘s how I read it. I am sure she enjoyed the conversation. Also the second part with the professor. Who wouldn‘t enjoy being in a conversation woth a Nobel prize winning neuro scientist… and a funny one, too. Beckmann was arguably the most interesting talkshow back then, having the most interesting guests of the time, such as the Dalai Lama. The two friends of Tina also have their moments in the conversation and add to the context of the project „Beyond“ of the three. Very fitting panel of guests and surely a worthy document of Tina Turner at ease with the moment. Rest in peace Tina! A force of nature! Your light and example will shine on! Transcend beyond. Love You.

It is incomprehensible that a country as developed as Germany are, dubs the voice of a world artist. Get yourself together! (I am a Swede)

I don't know why some people think Tina speaks fluent German. I've yet to hear her speak a word of german on TV or anywhere I have seen her. Its always English.

According to wiki, she recently obtained Swiss citizenship, which incl a German test and a Swiss history test. But you're right, I'm still trying to find a video where she can fluently speak German.
