My Mum and I used to duet her songs (badly) on the weekends and after school. Tina passed a week after we saw her musical. Somehow it made it more special to have seen a story about her life that she had a say in, right before she died. I hope her partner is as okay as he can be.

Still miss this beautiful Queen of Rock and Roll Tina Anna Mae Bullock Turner knew what she did while she was in an abusive relationship with her ex husband Ike, but by the time she signed up with Capitol Records/Virgin her music career just skyrocketed up high and her tours became very successful. I was shocked to learn she signed up for the exit program. But at the same time, certain people wouldn’t allow her to just be Tina. They constantly reminded her of Ike and Tina and calling her a sellout. I’m happy she opted out and her amazing partner offered his kidney. So happy for finding genuine love and happiness and that’s how she left this life. Who is the damn cameraman? Get it together!!!
