@CopiousDoinksLLC2 жыл бұрын
Everywhere I go, people swear blind that Limmy is some sort of comedic genius and I just don't see it. I've tried watching a bunch of his clips (even tried watching his streams) and he just comes off as a normal guy who occasionally says something quirky or weird which people find relatable. I certainly don't think he's anywhere near as much of a 'national treasure' as Billy Connolly is and it's a little depressing to think anyone would ever consider the two in the same league, tbh.
@InTheKM2 жыл бұрын
@@CopiousDoinksLLC it's almost as if comedy is subjective eh? I'm personally not a big fan of Billy Connolly. All he does is tell daft stories.
@50scap3 Жыл бұрын
@@CopiousDoinksLLC The Limmy segment where he's essentially trying to buy a bus ticket to the carefree days of his youth is absolutely one of the best few minutes of television you will ever watch. Sweet and relatable and crushingly heartbreaking at the same time. You can NOT watch the part where he looks left and right and says: "I don't want to be here.. I want to be there.." and if you have any kind of soul within you NOT understand in the most profound way what he's talking about.
