Tina carried us so far away with her powerful performances, we'd never have fancied that she would only have fourteen years left after this concert: The loss of Tina cannot be described in words, it just hurts too much, her legacy of music, however, all the more! Tina's immortality lies in her songs, in her life affirming demeanour and, as a result, in her powerful performances to the delight and enthusiasm of her fans. The tears in our eyes now represent our love for her as we have always loved her. Therefore, I may say: Thank you for your invaluable legacy, Tina, we will always carry you in our hearts! I’m 30, so Tina was still a very successful singer during my time, but she had already released hits like this and Proud Mary long before I was born. But my mom raised me on what I call “the greats” who paved the way for the successful artist of my generation like Britney and Gaga. There’s something so completely mesmerizing about Tina. The way she sings, the way she moves! With nothing but a little outfit, a killer pair of heels, those legs, that hair and a mic she commanded the room. She had a big stage, with lights and all but she didn’t rely on cool “tricks” to entertain the crowd, SHE alone entertained the crowd…. Like no other. It’s corny and cliche, but they just don’t make ‘em like they used to! QUEEN. LEGEND. ICON. BAD-ASS!!! That’s Tina Turner, that’s her legacy!

I remember some of those moves from 40+ years ago.lol I have to give him huge props....bcuz VERY FEW ppl are in that good of physical condition & can still dance like that into their 70's...in fact many in their 40's can't even touch him!lol

Here she goes - "setting us under fire" ... Undoubtedly the best of her renditions of "Nutbush City Limits". Love it, love it, love you, Tina! R.I.P. 🌼🌹🌻🥀🌺❤👍👍👍

Is there another person who sings too? “Nutbush City Limits" is a semi-autobiographical song written by Tina Turner which commemorates her rural hometown of Nutbush in Haywood County, Tennessee, United States.

@@ttadavis1443 No, no, there's no other person to sing this song, I was just thinking of her own performances throughout the years.
