My favourite songs of hers are "Two People" (Live at Camden Palace 1986) and "We Don't Need Another Hero" (Live in San Bernardino 1993). She had all qualities of a rock star: endurance, an unmistakable, soulful rock voice, sex appeal, cool dance moves. I hope she will never be forgotten.

She definitely had a one-of-a-kind voice, her voice easily stood out above all other singers. I may have been born the same year that she hit it big with Ike, but her music really is a soundtrack of our lives. I thank God for the talent he gave you. And thank you for sharing your wonderful gift with the entire world. You will be missed darling!

I live in Liverpool so music was always on in our house but the first record I can remember actually getting into was ike & Tina Turner Mountain high , I really do believe she hit a cord with me back in my childhood that made me love the likes of deep purple , sabbath and Floyd a few years later , her voice was phenomenal I might have moved on after those early years but she was certainly the first rock and roll female voice I listened to , but more importantly making a great life for herself after a dreadful marriage RIP ……but not to quietly Tina x

My first memory of Tina Turner was when I was young. I saw a concert on PBC one Saturday, and I had no clue who she was. Being so young at the time, and new to the music scene, I had no idea. I watched the concert and kinda brushed it off. At that time if it wasn't KISS I wasn't interested... So Young... Such a fool. Lol RIP Tine and Lots of Love

I ha e to say when the great Chris Cornell was taken on my sister's bday I felt😢. My appreciation has grown fonder every time I hear him. Thx for being real. I grew up quickly turning the channel when a Tina song came on, then received a slap from any of the woman in the room. Lol. Learned to love her though.

I hear ya, at least in terms of appeal across all age groups the way artists like Tina or MJ did. But there are others, while not new, they are all around entertainers, (Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, etc) and I think they deserve recognition That being said, we should appreciate the legends we have while we have them. And Tina was among them

I was totally gutted when I heard the news, when you grow up with artists music in the background of your life you can’t help but feel deeply effected. She was truly a survivor, so much adoration for her and for what she went through and then achieved in her own right after keeping the Tina Turner name. I personally love We don’t need another hero and her cover of let’s stay together. Oh and she had better legs than a woman half her age! 😂

RIP Tina. Grew up with her; she had it all. You could see that she loved to entertain, she loved to sing, and she had the X factor times 100. Sadly she could not live forever, but she made it to 83, and that's not bad. There are not many artists today of her calibre. She was the real thing: A REAL strong, stunning and brave WOMAN! This is sad, and I agree that we should celebrate her life and her music ♥

You forgot one thing, dear. She was a Queen of Survival. She could have succumed and prolly would have ended, but wouldn't accept such a fate and Bucked the trend and LIVED! She was also one of the few that became successful, fell, but returned Even BIGGER than she could possibly imagine (suck it Ike, ya super loser) Rebecca? I'm a hugely emotional person as well (I mean it all comes out the say way...I cry. No matter what the emotion; once I "lose it" be it saddness, happy, furious, and of course "etc" lol! I "rain" like a downpour! When you said "Oh! Gettin' emotional...need a sec. (paraphrasing) Is it because you had the "telltale" lump in your throat? You, I'm sure, know there is nothing wrong about bein' emotional (I write my best poetry when I'm sad or hurt) You and I are kindred sprits and anytime someone leaves we acknowledge it in some way. We are who we are, so be proud! :)

It was a shock to me,eventhough i knew she had reached a matured age today. Im always shocked when people "hang up the phone",i just never get used to it,i think. Tina was my moms favourite female artist, and sadly mom had to tap out due to cancer, way way way ahead of Tina, its actually a 20 year anniversary today for her passing, she was so young. But she loved Tina and got me into her as well, not on moms passionate level, but *gasps* just as im about to mention my favourite song Steamy Windows, then you start singing it,and then apologizes Maybe we are soulmates?😏 Anyway,i like a good handful of her songs, but i cant name them all, like i think mom would be able to. She bought her albums and such. I just hope that Tina at least went peacefully🙏💞So hard when people pass on and never "come back",i thought i would be able to adjust, but even with Tina who im not super passionate about,i mean i like her alot, and she means something special as mom loved her soo much,im still shocked and feel a good doze of sadness. And i heard from an old actor that has now passed on himself,he got interviewed on some of his final years in a talkshow, where he talked openly about how he felt seeing everyone around his own age, abit above or even abit younger. And he said that the sadness was neverending and he no longer feard death like he used to do when he was younger, now he felt almost like a stranger,as all of his friends within the acting profession, theatre, musicals etc were no longer there,it was only him left. So he just had this neverending sadness and "wanted to get it over with". Not like he wanted to go out,by doing something himself,he just didnt fear when his day came. One part of me hopes i never end up feeling like that,in regards to me outliving all my friends. Another part of me hopes to live as long as possible, and overcome the "fear of the unknown". I wish we knew more about "the afterlife". Is there really reincarnation? Or will it just be non existent darkness? Or will it be a existence in a spirit/soul type of world, where we are able to help the living? Having spoken to a healer, and felt healing on my body,he said "im not the actual healer,im just the guy that "pushes a button",im able to establish a connection with a spirit world, where good spirits are able to enter your body and reset it,meaning removing blockages that makes you sick. And the resetting is back to a time when your body was completely healthy. Trust me,i was very sceptical before all this, and i still dont know if i can fully trust everything he said to me,as it seems soo wild and imaginary. However,he did give me an experience that i have never experienced before or after. And it wasnt imagination,as i was really sick going into the pandemic, and it seemed really aggressive, spreading. My body started to shut down and my back kept locking during sleep etc. I was in great pain, and when the healing hit me with waves of energy,i was actually asleep. So the massive, overwhelming healing energy actually woke me up several nights. And the flow of energy went straight to the places where my body was hurting, and made the pain go away. And the scary "bumps" all over my body started to fade away and completely vanish over the days as well. So with the experience he gave me,im willing to lean more into believing that there is indeed something after our bodies "gets outdated". I have also watched this brilliant guy on YT that tells stories that are true, and he even has his own paranormal stories from he was a kid, where he slept over at his 2 friends and theyr moms hut/cabin. And all 3 nights he spent there, the kids father and theyr moms husband would come and take his round around the house, making noise and doing actions like "lowering himself down over one of his sons, and scribbling i love you in a board or something to his wife. And the wife was aware of this, when this youtuber would try to talk to her about what he had heard and seen. I didnt want to say his name,as it would be looked at as promotion and rude in another channel. And then there is Angelina Jordan that since her "babysteps" has had vocal techniques as old matured vocalists still struggles to achieve. She certainly makes me believe that she has lived on this earth before, just with another name, another identity, birth date, year, decade whatever. Okay, time to step off the soapbox! Im sorry!💞🌷Tina Turner🌷💞

A true icon of music. The world has lost a true lagend with the passing of Anna Mae Bullock who went by the stage name of Tina Turner. Her 1st era was the 60s but with Private Dancer in the 80's a 2nd era of fame welcomed her back into the charts. For me 1 song that gets less love than it deserves is Goldeneye from the movie of tyhe same name - written for her by Bono and The Edge from U2

If you check the chart above, you’ll see the lowest note for singing is an E2 for bass singers and E6 for sopranos. However, Tim Storms can produce a G-7 which can’t be heard by humans. Wang Xiaolong achieved an E8 in 2018.

Great performer and singer but please let’s not pretend she personally left us with any music, be it lyrics or composition. Yes I know without someone to sing those lyrics, words on a piece of paper is all they’d remain but come on She was like many before her a very good performer of other peoples music. I’m an Elvis fan who was himself a great performer of others music, difference being he actually changed the face of music ‘as John Lennon’ famously said, ‘before Elvis there was nothing’ over exaggeration obviously but we know what he meant. Can the same be said of Miss Bullock ? Of course not. In fact had it not been for The Rolling Stones’ taking her on tour with them in the 80’s odds are she’d have faded away to obscurity long before her sad passing. Now this post may seem like I wasn’t a fan, on the contrary some of her performances of songs will always be iconic. The movie ‘What’s love got to do with it’ introduced me to an ‘underrated song imo ‘Fool in Love a song written by he who shall not be named, but also the man who without whom maybe she’d still be the shy undiscovered talent he cultivated. Another artist has passed away, a lady most of us never knew, so let’s keep perspective 🙏❤️🙏
