They were reunited at the Oscar Ceremony's scheduled to perform their huge hit "In the Shallow" They were smoken' hot together!! I really had thought that they'd hook up while filming that movie, or very shortly afterwards. Then when I had read that each one had gone through a breakup and were no longer with their BF/GF and we're now free as can be✓ Ahhaa💡🤔 they must have just been waiting for the final breakup of their respective partners... YES, Tina is missed by many of us, across the world. Such people as Tina are a loss that cannot be described once they are gone. And the worst of it is that in the foreseeable future we will also have to say goodbye to some other stars (who really are!). I myself am 72 now, and there have been numerous artists who have accompanied me since my youth. Tina is one of these superstars - my favorite one -, and I watch and listen to this "Nutbush City Limits" video almost once a day. I consider people like her to be a part of me that I hold onto for my emotional well-being. I'm almost certain that was one of Tina's goals as well, to have her fans feast on her legacy. The most delightful duet performance of the 20th century. I saw this live on TV and with simultaneous broadcast on a radio station. I can say that I wasn’t here during the first moon landing to me this delightful performance by David Bowie and Tina Turner will be just as memorable as the first moon landing because from a music perspective. This is a song that I would like to be sent to the universe for other civilisations in our infinite universe to see how music has made at times our world better in the hearts of millions of people around the world and how it can unite us and give us hope into our future. My sincere thanks to Tina Turner and David Bowie for making me realise as a teenager of the 80s that with music legendary musicians contribute to a more harmonious world and can have such a positive impact and inspiration on young generations.
