I played this to death even though I was stuck in the loop, the loop was IMO so sensual that I was locked into it like a junkie becomes hooked.

Lord of The Isles has done some nice electronic instrumentals which I enjoy. And only on a sonic level, this Tina Turner remake isn't bad, in spite of the clichéd loops and drop-outs. But I wish "electronic music producers and remixers" would have the good taste and respect to simply leave some classics alone and not turn everything into a cheesy nu-disco or balaeric chill-out track and tag their own names onto it. (It's already been done to classics by Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald and Karen Carpenter too.) Because the voice of Tina Turner tops ANYTHING they could ever turn out.. that incredible force from her life and soul, reduced here to a silly meaningless snippet. Stiff male producers - not as a "politically correct" comment on racism or sexism but - if you can't respect those women's voices, please just keep your hands off. All the technical perfection and tempo correction merely highlights how UNSOULFUL and truly unnecessary electronic music has become, and ruins all the joy of hearing the original.
