For the hot oil ramen you should try putting all of your seasonings in a separate plate, then after adding the (smoking hot) oil and leaving it for a while, your garlic should be almost fried.. Then apply it to your noodles. This will make for a deeper flavor👍👌

I want to try it so bad, as I love spicy food (the Samyang noodles are 🤤), but, sadly, the version sold in the US (at least at the store I'm able to get to) contains beef, and I can't/don't eat beef. So many things get ruined for me by having beef or ham/pork. 😭

My two current favorite recipes are take one egg yolk (no white), about 2 tablespoon of mayo (any kind, but I like Kewpie), the veggie and spice/soup base of a spicy ramen and mix those together in a sauce pan. Then I add water, mix it well and boil it. Add in the noodle after it's boiled for a while, then put it in your bowl. I like to add tofu or sausage to this and chili flake oil. It's so good. My other favorite recipe comes from the Aaron and Claire channel here on YT. Cut up a ripe tomato and half of an onion. Add those to your water along with your spicy soup base and veggie packet. Boil those for about five minutes, smash the tomato a bit, then add in your noodles, cook the noodles then take them out. Scramble an egg in a bowl or measuring cup then add it to the soup base. Cook for about 3 minutes or less (depending on how you like your eggs done) then add everything to your noodles in your bowl. It is so freaking good!
