A good boss for Stormdancers is the Scorn Battleground. It spawns so many adds that you pretty much have your super up in 10seconds after you use your super and get max stacks easily.

For damage testing against Greg, have one Warlock on Speaker, SoF, Heat Rises, and ToF. Consuming a grenade while in SoF creates a healing turret on the spot. You can have multiple turrets. Just make sure they're behind Cross when damage phase starts. This isn't meant as a huge help or gamechanger, and I know, most test are meant to be open field tests, but to prevent resets or mishaps, it's a good strat.

the bet was def unfair, but look at it this way: stormtrance requires two exotics and prismatic to break a mil. daybreak just needed 1 exotic and some basic subclass synergy. stormtrance is still doodoo. personally, I think supers should always be strong against bosses. graviton lance clears adds better than some supers do, so add clear isn't a good argument for a super being booty against a thicc baddie yellowbar.

@@jgadventures4161 Yeah the our Melee and Class ability is also slow to comeback compared to the other classes and as far as grenades go the only real option is Devour, and Bungie NERFS Void SO HARD because of Devour that even with 100 Discipline it takes me me longer to get a grenade than a Hunter with 50 Discipline so if you don't use devour on void warlock you are SCREWING yourself, On my Prismatic Warlock I manages to get an Okay build without devour it puts out a LOT of Constant Aggressive damage with good ammo economy but survivability is a bit of a struggle so you NEED to keep control of Enemy Number and position and it takes a at least 10-15 seconds to get rolling and if you get stuck, revived or joined into a meat grinder you will get SLAUGHTERED before you can get up to speed and there AIN'T NOTHIN' you can do about it but maybe RUN, so prep I EVERYTHING! Grenade up time is pretty good but it took 100 Discipline 100 Recovery and 71 Resilience as well as armor mods to get Class and grenade energy from Orbs and 2 siphons to match you Primary and Special damage types to generate them and then SLAUGHTER, to get there and that is without Artifice armor. So far EVER artifice armor piece I have gotten is a DOWNGRADE on my current set can't WAIT for the new armor system so Armor can be fun again

While I do agree that titans can be stronger, I think it's also harder to play since both hunters and warlocks have a lot easier access to heals, weapon damage buffs, and easy escapes

One combo I think overlooked alot is Dawnchorus, Song of Flame, with Dragons Breath, and a controlled burst Scatter signal. Obviously not just the dmg from the super, but the inherent synergies you use in that build while having free roam to deal dmg while in it does make it higher than probably half of theses. Using Stormtrance for damage here's some recommendations. Stick the boss with Anarchy before going super, have a Helion for ignitions, use strand melee for some bonus if you have necrotic, have a turret freezing to apply debuff so light damage does more damage, and use your void grenade to weaken. All of this combined cooks very hard.

I really like the balance between the best dps supers for the warlock.. in the end the best roaming for dps is prismatic storm trance, the best roaming in general for utility and dps is prismatic song of flame, the best one and done it's prismatic nova bomb and the best alternative (depending on the boss type since nova bomb blocks damage) is prismatic needle storm or needle storm with euphony on strand

If song of flame counts as roaming then no storm trance is absolutely not the best. With song of flame you can use your weapons. Storm trance takes fucking forever and that time could be better spent using weapons. Please for the sake of everyone you raid/do dungeons with do NOT use Stormtrance for damage

if you spam daybreak using dawn chorus i believe you get less ignition procs then if you give it some time in between, ignitions have a short delay before they can reproc usually, also heat rising + dive is a good way to scorch during super too...

Have you ever considered doing testing with team member running Phoenix Cradle? They would be able to buff you with Sol Invictus and lengthen any super no matter the class. I remember a clip from ages ago with Chaos Reach and it behaved similarly to how it would during the solstice event with the elemental pickups.

I've been using weaken + nova bomb on slowed enemies with prismatic and the artifact for void dmg on stasis debuffet targets in pretty much every content, it does quite the chunk of damage. I'm also using Bad Juju for quick super regen

As a prior Ballidorse enjoyer. Winter’s Wrath needs to do 500k damage with Ballidorse making it do 1m. Ballidorse Buff: Killing enemies with Winter’s Wrath extends the use of the Super. Osmiomancy Buff: Killing Slowed or Frozen enemies grants Super Energy.

The apotheosis is BS cause you need to be shooting your heavy and special. 2 mil damage is cool but it takes the whole damage phase. Dawn chorus with daybreak, no apotheosis but still hellion, only takes 15 seconds from damage and still gives 1.25mil. It is the highest DPS super on warlock.

When you do the stasis super, you need to throw grenades instead of using the primary click to freeze to extend the super duration. Still weak but gives you a bit more time to pulse out the blasts.

I want to state that Cross still uses Winter's Wrath wrong, you need to hold the shatter button as you shoot and it fires half the projectiles and uses half the super energy per shatter which does actually increase its damage by a lot. Only half decent with Ballidorse but its significantly better than tested.
